How much will you sell it for?

Depending upon if you are serious, I might have a few folks who are interested.

I purchased it on 7th Sep 2024, so everything is almost new and in long warranty. Have boxes and bills for all.I paid approx 2.75L including a xbox series x shock blue controller,  extra coolermaster gpu holder and 3 thermaltake argb fans. Im open to selling it for around 2.5L, will also throw in my steam, epic and gog account with all the legitimately purchased games (there are quite a few of them and heavy hitters like Silent Hill 2, ac mirage, cyberpunk ue, rdr2 ue, ff16, etc)

Can you please DM me the exact config and the price you are looking just for the PC? I will circulate it through and will let you know.

Cannot guarantee but maybe someone might bite if one is not able to just build the same config brand new for the same price.

I could really do with some leads on how to buy a Founders Edition card in India. 5000 series is really nice and I've been waiting for a while. Just need to know how to procure FE. I don't want AIB cards as they are too big and more expensive. Please some help here!

5090 = Rs.214000/-

5080 = Rs. 107000/-

5070Ti = Rs.80000/-

5070 = Rs.59000/-

Note: Performance  5070 +DLSS 4 = 4090 +DLSS 3.5

         in raw performance 5070 = 4070 + 25%

Could you share what you are basing this on?

and what about higher up cards in raw performance?

I am on mobile now

But If you go the nvidia website

Check under performance section

Check farcry 6  and plague requiem results

Which are fair comparisons.

Farcry6 scaling is bad and there is about 20-25 % over 4070 which I feel worst case scenario

so I expect

Atleast  30% avg over 4070

Other results are dlss 4 vs dlss3

5090 is about 40-50% over 4090

Raw performance uplift based on those slides

You have to register your interest at RPtech India and they will send a link with payment details and stuff when the card is available with them. Registration links will open up by early next week. Good Luck.

Experienced PC folks, please guide -

I am trying to build a 5080 PC. My first step is securing the GPU.

meanwhile, I am trying to figure out the rest of the build.

My gaming use case - AAA games at upscaled 4K (from 1440p) at 60-90fps ultra settings with full RT/PT and MP games at at least 144fps at reasonable settings

Question 1 - considering above requirements, which CPU would work? I am not keen to buy 9800X3D because it’s over expensive. I could consider 7800X3D but it seems very low in stock and I want it under 40k. I am also considering - 9700X, 9600X, 7700, 7600 - would any 1 of these 4 work for my use case? If I use one of these 4, I could save some money and put that towards other components like the GPU

Question 2 - excluding the GPU, what should be the rest of the build? Please suggest stuff like which motherboard for AMD Ryzen CPU, which PSU, which case, which and how much RAM, etc

I built a new 9800x3d rig just this week, so I guess I can chime in. Will post rig details (and pics :p) at the end of post but first my 2 cents on your questions.

I am also waiting to secure a 5090 GPU, and my first stop generally is pcpricetracker.in. Then r/Indiangaming and Google in general. As a general advice, if you can get a SBI cashback card, do get it. it will provide effective 5% off any online purchase, which would really add up.

I would 'highly' recommend a X3D CPU, as at 1440p effective resolution paired with a powerful graphics card, it would matter. As for price, I found this at 40k. Mind you this is OEM version with no cooler, so thats extra cost. You can also install keepa on Amazon and set alerts when the price drops below 40k. It's deals season so its highly likely it may drop. Also keep tracking pcpricetracker.

If you are set on other processors, 9900x can be bought for about ~37k on Amazon w/ SBI card right now. Can also get for ~39k at other places. Otherwise the higher the number the better, so go with 9700x. I am not sure about intel processors as they werent even in my consideration set.

For 9000 series CPUs, 6000MHz CL30 RAM is recommended. 32GB should be enough. Get 2 sticks only.

Any 600 series onwards mobo will be fine (will need bios updates, except 850/870 mobos). Do not get Anything else other than 650/670/850/870 as those lower number mobos cant overclock and suck.

Fo PSU, use this list.

Get a good quality cabinet of reputed company (Lian Li, NZXT etc.) with good airflow. AIO is optional but good air cooler at least is recommended.

Here is my rig (going for all white)-

AMD 9800X3D
Kingston Fury Beast RGB EXPO 64GB (32GBx2) DDR5 6000MHz White
Asrock X870 Pro RS WiFi Mobo
Gigabyte Aorus Waterforce II 360 ICE ARGB 360mm CPU Liquid Cooler
5TB 7200MB/S NVME SSDs (Orico O-700)
NZXT H6 Flow Cabinet
NZXT C1000 1000W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX 3.1 Power Supply (White)
2xNZXT 140Q, 1x NZXT 120P (Fans)

Thanks!

I plan to try all venues, but given that I will try to get a white graphics card, I may have to get non-founders edition only. But will still try to get in queue as and when RPtech opens it.

Listings for 5000 series cards are already popping up on other stores such as vedant computers, sans price. The price should also get updated soon. I plan to keep tracking those and buy one around 10th Feb, once enough listings have come and price has settled a bit.
