There is a separate x64 executable for running the 64 bit version, but the default 32 bit executable works just fine under Win7 x64.

I'm using the same OS but the 64 bit exe never worked for me.....as u said, since the 32 bit exe works fine.....I dodn't bother....also read somewhere that only a difference of 1 fps at mzx exists between the two versions!

That i know and it even shows two different versions in start menu.but on my pc i can run both of these only in compatibility mode or the game does not start.

True. There's no difference between the two.

and source too

.....I want something like campaign add ons and not graphical enhancements and all that type of stuff....Since so many play crysis mods here....thought you might have some idea of some good mods from there!

yea crysis is pretty easy on normal :happydance:. the stealth mode for the suit is almost like cheating if you ask me. increase armor while fighting if you are getting killed off too easily.

yup.....you can even bump into enemies with cloak on and they will be like "what? something hit me!?" :P

wow, this game is tough :| 4 shots and nomad goes down in normal .... looks like I'm playing it the wrong way by going all rambo !

Welcome to the world of PC shooters :P . Protip for you , you can tag enemies by scanning them with binocs,

scan em all , then equip silencer and strength and pick them off one by one. :happydance:

I really dont think this is that hard. Even compared to console shooters. TBH I found MW1 and WaW on PC MUCH harder than this. And that was on normal too. Just dont go Rambo.

ya I guess the reason is crysis was designed to appeal not only to hardcore gamers but for normal folks as well...so anyone can pick up the game and play well.....may be that's the reason the game uses a different FPS mechanic as compared to other FPS shooters!

+1. Stealth is overkill, especially since the levels are so big. Even if you lose power, you can always run away quickly, disappear and come back to kick their asses.

Also, it's very common for someone to forgot to keep switching to maximum armor mode during direct firefights, at least while you're getting used to the game mechanics.

But still.. Crysis, hard? Hell no.

Accept the fact that the game play is not so hard enough. And well said it was designed so that the normal folks can also get their hands on.But i think normal folks wouldn't have the tech support(i mean the H/W) and wouldn't have played,it would've been better if game-play was strict and sort of not easy.

I will come back to this after I'm done with MW 2. The visuals are so beautiful, I spend most of my time gazing at it instead of playing the game  This is at first light mission, can't wait to see whats up next !

The game has some spectacular set-pieces later. The best part for me was the fact that you could approach a skirmish in many different ways (at least in the open levels).

And do give Warhead a spin after you're done with this. It's a more badass version of Crysis with a badass protagonist.
