Overwatch release is just around the corner and I'm curious to know how many people will be playing the game on the PS4 upon release? I played the Open Beta on the Xbox One and group matchmaking was not up to the mark! I also have the game on the Xbox One as well but looking at the Beta performance I am a bit worried to say the least. I have also picked up the game on the PlayStation 4 and hoping that the population of PS4 players in South East Asia solves these matchmaking issues because I have spoken to Blizzard and they have categorically stated that region selection will not be available for Overwatch on consoles which means we are stuck playing on the SEA servers. I love Battlefront but it can sometime be frustrating when you're the only one going for objectives while the rest of the team plays TDM. Even if some players go for kills it won't really help them because those stats are not shown on screen. At the end of the game the screen getting plastered with either Victory/Defeat is the only indication so as to how well you've played. Also since there is no TDM mode in the game you won't see people not playing the objective. Trust me when I say this, there hasn't been a more team oriented FPS in probably a decade. True, and one of the reasons I'm planning on getting it is because Payload is very similar to the Extraction mode in Battlefront: How was the ping as there's no region-select? I have confirmation from Blizzard that region select will not be present on consoles. I guess either you can VPN and then connection share to switch regions or stick to SEA Servers to play.
