Heaven Angel
The Legend Returns. Developed by The Odd Gentlemen, the new King’s Quest™ reimagines all the charm, humor, puzzles, exploration and sense of wonder that made the franchise so magical when it first arrived thirty years ago. Old and grey, King Graham – the hero made legend in the original King’s Quest games – shares the extraordinary stories of his youth with his curious granddaughter, Gwendolyn, taking players back to the feats that shaped a kingdom. "We wanted to hang on to everything that made King's Quest so special... If Roberta and Ken were still making adventure games, this is the one they'd make in 2015." Release date: Fall 2015. Platform: PC, PS3/4, X360/One.

Heaven Angel
The debut episode of the reimagined King’s Quest will release in "late" July on PC, Playstation 4 and 3, and Xbox One and 360. The chapter - entitled A Knight to Remember - is the first of five downloadable episodes of "the bold reimagining of one of adventure gaming’s most memorable franchises" and stars Christopher Lloyd as an old King Graham, Josh Keaton as a young Graham, Maggie Elizabeth Jones as Gwendolyn, and Zelda Williams as Amaya the Blacksmith. We've enjoyed what we've played so far. In our hands-on preview earlier this year, we said that "this new reimagining of King’s Quest is a delightful surprise for an old-school adventurer like myself." "It seems to capture the spirit of the original games, if not the game mechanics, with razor-sharp writing, gorgeous production values, and tons of Easter eggs and call-backs to the franchise. Even little things, like the use of King’s Quest 5’s interface and a random sound effect from King’s Quest 6, make the new King’s Quest seem less like a relaunch and more like the return of an old friend". -IGN.
