blitzkreiig
Need to learn how to start & progress through the game. I'll be playing on console (PS4) and am mostly interested in single player content. I have twice completed the game on normal and the max i could reach was level 37 & 42 respectively. When i play it on the top most difficulty it becomes way too slow to be fun. So i wanted to ask what's the correct way to start a game. Which difficulty should i opt for? Is playing multiplayer essential for Levelling upto 70? Does the game require multiple playthroughs on increasing difficulties?

Playing Solo takes forever to level up..Check Diabo 3 ps4 communities and ask anyone to power level your character. He will take u to 70 in max 5 mins if he is already 70. Best way to level up solo is by doing rifts and bounties which will be available to u after completing campaign once. I have all my characters level 70 on Xbox one...One Chinese guy joined and leveled up my all characters to 70 in 30-40 mins.. Now i help other n00bs on Xbox in leveling up :P. I play on Torment 13 difficulty Solo is boring and leveling is really slow when playing Solo. Edited September 20, 2017 by WhiteWolf
Heaven Angel
Without group/party, it is going to be slow and boring. Don't waste time doing the story and all. Do adventure mode master. Do ACT I & II bounties. RIFTS. A lot of rifts. RIFTS. Craft level 40 and level 61 weapon with best stats possible. Did I mention RIFTS? Do till you are bored of it. Ding level 70. Tthe best and easiest way to level up is 4 man Greater Rifts. If you want to cheat(?), then just join some group and ask them to boost you up. Will take like ~15-20 minutes. WhiteWolf
Adventure mode was not unlocked for me from start. Bliz you will miss out on campaign related trophies if you just start with Adventure mode Quote If you want to cheat(?), then just join some group and ask them to boost you up. Will take like ~15-20 minutes. How it's cheating? Borderlands also allowed you to level up faster by joining other high level player. If he is playing with legit level 70 player who is not using modded Gear then it's not cheating.. Also Blizzard allows players to use modded gear on consoles, then can you call it cheating? You can't hack Xbox and ps4 version. It's allowed in game itself. Heaven Angel
Don't know how the console version work with offline, modding and shite. But there is no modding on PC version. Thanks to always online. Second, boosting is completely okay as long there is no modding stuff involved. Nobody wants to re-do the same thing 100+ times just to level up 70. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk But thing is you can't hack or mod Xbox one and PS4 like Xbox 360. Modded Gear is allowed in the game by devs.. When Season 11 launched, Blizzard community manager posted on Xbox community page that players can't use modded Gear in season mode. It's only allowed in Normal mode. They are fully aware and know modded gear is used on consoles. They never take any action against players who are playing in normal mode on consoles. They ban only if you use modded gear in Seasonal mode.

Heaven Angel
Wow, the PS4 Pro version working smoother than the PC version. Zero drops in big battles... The couch co-op is a sweet addition as well. Need some time to get used to evade. I often end up using right trigger than left. How is melee with a controller? Currently playing Wizard. With the new season coming, I might finish it again in couch co-op. Damn. Edit: Looks like season 12 started 3 days back. Tyler
I've played Barb and Monk on PS4 and it plays really well, in fact better than the PC version. I've always thought that the console version is a better experience overall. It does get stuff like patches and content late but nothing beats the controls, the ease and most importantly - couch co-op. The only drawback is the inventory management which can get somewhat tedious - but even then the UI is fairly simple and elegant for a game of this kind. Heaven Angel
Thanks. I'll try Barb today. Played too much with Monk already. Yeah, I'm having a blast with the Pro version. Inventory does make to look twice before equipping anything. Very well done though.
Heaven Angel
Local co-op >>> online co-op. The game is so much fun in local co-op. We cleared act I yesterday and it was an absolute blast. The discussion, giggles and sharing items made it a complete joy to play.
i_rock098
Thinking about getting Diablo 3,does it make sense to start a new character now or like everyone playing the game right now is on god level?Does it make sense to get it for the single player?Does the reaper of souls contain all the game contents? i_rock098
Eternal edition is what sells now. It has all content. Reaper of souls is no longer sold at least on Psn. And it's on sale right now, I think. If you ask, no point in getting it for SP, also public lobbies are plagued by hacked items. So, I'd say don't buy if you don't have friends to play with. This is what I had feared. Hacked multi-player.Thanks for the heads up. Won't get it in that caseSent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Controls are fantastic and game also runs really well. You can easily ignore players with modded items. It's a coop game not pvp which will affect your game. WhiteWolf
Free to play Path of Exile is available on Xbox but for some reason it's not coming to PS4. It's a great Diablo style game for those who don't like Diablo
