Â Wonder how blizz will innovate,they arent known for that,they normally perfect ideas that are already around and make them fun,and this genre hasnt really changed much since d2...but anyway,I'll be perfectly happy if the gameplay is just the same as D2. Bulovski Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 The sys specs are pretty low - as expected. The December date is unlikely. But it's Blizzard - no one knows what they will plan. As far as gameplay goes - if they just put a few new gimmicks on D2 I am ok. The good part about Blizzard games are that they are super simple to play and that gives a lot of enjoyability. Character classes are not strictly gender-specific... so now you can have a female Barb if you wish. Enemies drop health orbs which can be absorbed automatically to restore health. Also, dialog scenes are improved and have a better interface. I'm really not looking for too many changes... even if it's exactly like D2 with updated graphics, I'll be a happy gamer! blackheart2925 Posted April 18, 2009 Report Share Posted April 18, 2009 dunno if they will release on time...Blizzard is famous for three things - Â 1. they have the three of THE BEST GAMES EVER in their kitty - Diablo, Warcraft and of course Starcraft! 2. they keep gameplay requirements simple...no heavy duty hardware required 3. Â my favourite's always been the "necromancer" who had some of the coolest spells and then the "barbarian" with his "power jump" thingy...which quite often used to land me in trouble faster than my mates is the MP/co-op mode...jump over a door or wall and bang in the middle of boss fight... Â P.S. - and who's gonna be the main bosses? i mean i thought we had pretty much finished off DIABLO and his brother in the LOD...so new boss or the old ones resurrected... However, there will be a total of five classes... just like the original Diablo 2. Although the Barb is the only class returning from the previous game. Necro was my favorite from D2 as well but he is being replaced by the Witch Doctor in D3.  As for the main bosses, not word on it yet but I won't be surprised if Diablo himself is back.
