Harsahil Posted June 29, 2008 Report Share Posted June 29, 2008 Well when i checked my Inbox today, i got an enthusiastic email. damn Yahoo! for not labelling it spam. the email was pretty interesting and makes anyone think about it for a moment. The email read like this: SUBJECT:WITH TRUST & CONFIDENTIALITY! (CALL ME IMMEDIATELY) Clitorese George and Associates. Legal Practitioners and Solicitors. #16 Marble-ark building, Ikoyi, Lagos- Nigeria. Tel: 234-805-071-2258, 234-802-353-7041. Dear Sir/Madam. It is with heartfelt hope that I write to seek your co-operation and assistance in the context stated below. I know that a deal of this magnitude will make anyone worried and apprehensive, but I am assuring you not to be, as all will be well at the end of this endeavor. I am George Clitorese, Esq. (Barr.), a Solicitor at Law, the Personal Attorney to a Late. Mr. Isaac P. Crafter II, a Foriegn expatriate who hails from your country. On the 4th of July 2001, It was reported to us, that my client, while returning from Vacation with his family from Russia, all died in the Tupolev-154 crash leaving from Black Sea holiday resort of Anapa to St.Petersburg For more information about this crash and people, visit this http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/5274958.stm Particularly, the Bank has given me a mandate as his attorney, to provide his next of kin or the funds (in excess of USD35.9Million) will be revoked within the next 15 working days. D/L: 234-805-071-2258. after reading this email, i knew that this was something big than ur usual spam email in the junk folder. so i decided to do some research. so i "googled" the email sender name CLITORESE, GEORGE (BARR.) and found the following result i really found this pretty interesting stuff to read. i guess some of u guys must have also received such kinda mail. if yes, share the news here.. and yes remember, there's one special thing abt this email. it doesnt disclose recipients of the email making it look like its really something very confidential. Systematic Posted June 29, 2008 Report Share Posted June 29, 2008 I think the more popular types of these e-mails are the lottery ones. Somehow they figure you to be a winner of a foreign lottery and they have your details and supposedly a huge amount of money for you. Then they ask for your details and some money in order for them to send the money to you. Usually the amount they ask for is ridiculous too XD.
