WhiteWolf Posted February 4, 2015 Report Share Posted February 4, 2015 Jason "Jace" Hall, former CEO and founder of Monolith Productions, wants to know if you're interested in playing — or perhaps even developing — a new game in the Condemned series, which he helped create and currently owns rights to. Hall said on Facebook that he's "consistently asked when a third [Condemned] game might be created." The first game, Condemned: Criminal Origins, was released in 2005 for Xbox 360. The sequel, Condemned 2: Bloodshot, came to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2008. Both games — first-person brawler games with a dark brand of psychological horror — were published by Sega. "Since I am focused on other things, and will be for quite some time, this franchise is just sitting there," Hall wrote on Facebook. "I am contemplating finding an interested and proven Indie development team AND PROVIDING IT TO THEM, so that they can take over the franchise and move it forward." Hall said he's seeking an independent developer because "it can be very hard to get marketing/media attention" and the Condemned franchise is "already quite known, has market demand, and is in an innovative genre/category." He's gauging interest in Condemned 3 via Facebook and Twitter. In 2012, Hall said he was interested in bringing back another Monolith Productions game, gory first-person shooter Blood, with the game's original graphics but support for modern computers and a handful of enhancements.
