Death Stryke
Oh the cliched first flower attempt @GEEKGAMER bro, with the 60D, u need better glass I'm already feeling hampered with the kit lens. Might atleast spring for a 55-250mm, or if I can afford, a 70-300mm. The F2.8 lens would be heavenly, but damn stuff cost more than the cam. Will save for a nice 85mm lens for 2012. @harish Pretty long exposures there. Tripod? Dont tell me u got a 5 second exposure handheld Edited March 20, 2011 by Death Stryke

Sherry Jose
Twilight and a waterfall ... Your views guys
outsider
The waterfall looks sensational. I like that you've underexposed the shot to give it a mystical feel. What did you do to get the soft image for the water?
Sherry Jose
it is a 1 sec exposure shot ... This will give you the silky water feel
Anshul
The composition and framing of the waterfall is excellent but I'd like to see more contrast, some nice colours and the image is just not sharp. It would give the image a lot more impact. The first one is not good, sorry. No clouds in the sky, the foreground is really bad (sorry), theres a lot of noise, it's not sharp and the vertical orientation just doesn't work here. Landscapes are very tough and require a lot of planning and patience so don't take it the wrong way.
Death Stryke
I agree with Anshul about keeping it horizontal for a nice landscape shot. Sherry, I think you should use a tripod or increase ISO. It will add noise but that can be corrected. In the 2nd snap, since u used a 1 second exposure, a tripod is a must I believe. You would've got the flowing water effect very nicely in that case with sharp focus on the rocks.

Yes, there were a lot of mistakes in the first pic In the waterfall pic, i felt that the light was a bit harsh and the trees around were not in the pleasing green color ... So just cropped those, did not want to edit anything in this pic ... Only crop was done in this pic

Could you please suggest some methods to reduce noise without losing sharpness ...
