Right
Hi guys. I picked up 50mm 1.8D for dirt cheap price 5.5k. And then BR2A ring to reverse it. I would say results are good but I really need to go very close to subject and I wish if magnification was little better. So I am thinking of picking extenaion tubes. There is one on amazon going for 1700, fotodiox, but not sure if they will fit with lens. Has anyone tried tubes, how are they?

Solitaire
A panoramic picture I took of Mount Rainier back in summer 2013. I don't think I've put it here before, but apologies if I have. I don't have a panoramic lens or some such so my only option is to stitch them. This is using the standard kit lens (18-55mm) on a Nikon D3200. I'm just an amateur photographer btw.@Somebody below, No didn't need / use a tripod. This one was taken on the Pacific coast of Oregon somewhere during a roadtrip I did. I think I snapped it near Florence, OR or Coos Bay. Somebody
^^ Great pic! Did you have to use a tripod to get those shots for a panorama? I wanna hike Mt.Rainer (although I'm not fit enough to even hike a smaller mountain). We don't have many tall mountains in the midwest Edited March 26, 2014 by Somebody

Somebody
Great pic! I'm curious to know how you got the lettering/jacket bright enough without washing out the background
Solitaire
New lens? Nope, this picture was taken using the old 18-55mm kit lens. Great pic! I'm curious to know how you got the lettering/jacket bright enough without washing out the background Thank you It's actually not as bright as you think it is. The lettering is white on a grey jacket. In the picture you'll see that the grey jacket has gone black instead to get the background to look better, but somehow it brought the white lettering out relatively well. I'm no ace photog so I don't quite remember what exactly I did. It was one of several pictures I took and this one turned out well

Solitaire
^^ Haha.. I think it turned out quite well. Good job Also, smart way to show off There's another sunset picture that I really use if I want to show off. Taken again at Cape Arago, Oregon just before New Year's day this year. Right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean with no one else around and no cities for miles. Amazing place actually and the best sunset of my life so far Aided in the picture taking by a rock because I always forget to take my tripod along.

_Krypton_
Canon 600D body only . Would cost ~ 28-30k but definitely worth the price . And invest in a good prime lens !

Javs
guys looking for a mid-budget camera around 10k range considering nikon 330 or 830 which is a good model ? i need to take pics of jewellery and beads mainly not for personal use
_Krypton_
P330 is a much viable option due to the better sensor and a wider aperture .
Javs
^^ thanks btw how is canon below http://www.flipkart.com/canon-powershot-sx510-hs-advance-point-shoot-camera/p/itmdsqm3hxgkejuh?pid=CAMDSQM2TPFD2H4H&icmpid=reco_hp_personalBR_3&otracker=hp_mod__reco_prd_img compared to L830 http://www.flipkart.com/nikon-coolpix-l830-point-shoot-camera/p/itmdtjgqy5fcuacw?q=Nikon+Coolpix+L830+Point+%26+Shoot+Camera&as=on&as-show=on&otracker=start&as-pos=p_1&pid=CAMDTJGZFSQRWAUR did you mean the L330 as in below or P330? _Krypton_
The diff. b/w L & P series cameras is just that l is an abbreviation of 'life' (entry level ) & P is professional (high end) . U clearly don't want canon coz u'll get the same features for a lesser price in nikon , if u just want to click pics .Full HD recording is where canon shines . Between l330 & l830 . Its just a matter of personal choice . L830 is marginally expensive coz it offers hd recording & has a flip out screen . Good luck with your purchase !
