Bulovski
So that leads to a rather unnatural dent between the cheekbone and the actual cheek? I see. Centuries of beating up for not delivering a sword in time.
gonekrazy3000
bro, i am 100% sure i read friendly fire possible when choosing normal difficulty ..later i changed easy. Well..... friendly fire is possible in the sense that blizzard will freeze your teammates. but they wont take any actual damage. on the pc version even on normal your allies take damage. Bulovski
Yup - the damage is not applied, but the effects are. So Earthquake and Fireball will apply knockdown effects, Blizzard will freeze.
Phoenix Wright
I played through that and I enjoyed it ...Humans were very hostile towards elf . It was bad, but it wasn't so terrible that I'd actually enjoy it. I call it the Karan Arjun level - So awful, it's awesome. But this wasn't at that level yet. Centuries of beating up for not delivering a sword in time. Ah, I see now.

DevilsOwn
Finished the game... WHAT A GAME!!! The ending was apt, not a large scale set-piece but story driven... so the next installment in Orlais???
Bulovski
There's two years of DLC planned. Two are already out - Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner. One more announced.

Bulovski
Bioware's next big projects are ME3 / Old Republic and hopefully some sequel to DA:O. They would be stupid not to do a sequel for DA:O considering that their other other fantasy based RPGs will probably not be revived because of the D&D setting. Old Republic should keep them very busy because it's an MMO. If in the next two years they can churn out 5 quality DLCs for DA:O I am happy. TBH many of the dlc end up like how MT put it for mass effect pinacle station just a cheap way of earning ...I for that reason prefer a full game as a sequel after a 1 year or2 yr than dlc every few months. I am not saying dlc's are bad idea but it happens very few times that it turns out to be a good fun .

If in the next two years they can churn out 5 quality DLCs for DA:O I am happy. dragon age is planned as a trilogy. and they are going to try and make it into a franchise now since it is not d&d and they control it in it's entirety. and it's going to be a lot more than 5 dlcs. the game already had 2 on launch day... the next one is expected at the end of this month and will cost 5$. it will be a monthly or bi-monthly thing for them now. not to mention, we should start getting user created content in a few months. this game/series is going to have a long, long life. just started the game today after being addicted to mw2 for the past month. completed the origins story and reached ostagar. i have a couple of newbie questions (which i reckon have been answered before but i'm not going through 100 pages of spoiler stuff ). 1. the blood spatter after combat. any way to get rid of it? it looks unseemly. 2. how do i see what the set bonus of any particular armor set is? in the character screen, i see the green icon at the bottom right telling me that i am getting a set bonus for the items i am wearing, but i can't exactly figure out what that set bonus is. i started playing a rogue... any general tips on builds/talents etc. that i should work on? i've already invested a point in coercion and deft hands as i've read a lot about many alternate dialogue bracnhes through coercion and loads of locked chests in the game. any other general tips? i'm going to go all melee, no ranger stuff. Simple. Dont get into any battles ... seriously though, there is no way out of it, unless the community gets something 2. i think you get a +5 to defense if your complete gear, from head to toe is of the same kind. cant say much about the rogue, though one general rule is to max out one talent tree. I had to play one quest as Zevran, a knife weilding rogue, the 'flurry' talent and the 'two-hand swipe' were pretty impressive in the damage that they dealt. Abt blood spatter..no way to get rid of it .I kinda liked it how they tried to show blood when coming from combat...its not like you are always shown with blood spatter .Enjoy the game. also One major tip do buy backpacks it will help increase items to store or you will miss out on many stuffs... like me
Bulovski
Persistent blood splatter can be turned off in the menu. Item set bonuses - check out dragonage.wikia.com. It might be shown in-game (not sure), but each armour set has different bonuses. Some will even give you stat increases.
