This thread is dr to discuss about PC games. Its not a PC vs console thread :|

No matter how many times you debate pros and cons of PC and console games are gonna stay the same. Give it a rest already

Yeah debating it is futile. Like beating a dead horse. Why can't we accept both are good in their own respective ways and be done with it?

Read the OP. Some anecdotal stuff in there out of nowhere and some repetitive. There's gonna be a lot of broken records spinning back and forth in this thread. But thread already exists, don't see a need for this honestly.

need for wars or need for this thread ?

Can any of you guys run battlefield hardline/evil within/alien isolation/mgsr/MGS5 on a 50k rig that was built on 2007 without future upgrading??

I think this will be enough to answer my primary question about games optimization for the hardware

Next all those mods and 60 fps game play in 4k resolution ,hardcore gamers doesn't give a sh*t as long as the game play is enjoyable and amazing .Halo(except 4) and mario series are the prime examples

lastly consoles are made for gaming thats their primary function, pcs are used for every purpose

so the dude who was saying we can run excel and surf web and watch porn at 60 fps in 1080p I don't see any point comparing these two for them.

and yes mostly all the pc exclusives are crap with some few exceptions

@alpha that was very very cruel of you :samui:

1. Nope i dont think so . Upgrading hardware is a downside of pc i agree . But it also provides better experience .

2. Mods and 60 fps matters to almost all the pc gamers .

3. What i meant was the comfort of multitasking . Just alt tab and there you go . I dont expect consoles to run excel and all .

4. Nah mate , pc exclusives arnt crap .

Lol Leave it , no point discussing this topic . One should game on the platform of choice . Happy gaming

Mod Style : Thread Lock no Jutsu

Dont want the thread to be locked as there are lots of hardcore pc fans right here.

But op created the thread on fully pc biased .Pc gaming is cool obviously (more sugar you add the sweeter it will get)

Some of the points just makes no sense .

anyways to start this thread here is some news

Details on Broadwell Core i7 and i5 CPUs Emerge

The two processors which are known as Core i7-5775C and Core i5-5675C are unlocked processors even though they use the “C” series branding unlike the “K” series models which Intel had labeled on their previous unlocked processors. There’s no reason explained for this name change but it doesn’t change anything and the new CPUs are exactly what we had expected to be earlier. The Core i7 and Core i5 parts are going to feature a 65W TDP (Thermal Design Power) and the latest Iris Pro Graphics 6200 iGPU which has eDRAM cache embedded to feed the execution units with faster memory for smoother execution process as opposed to the system RAM which is limited in terms of bandwidth.
The new Broadwell chips will be compatible with the existing LGA 1150 socket. http://linustechtips.com/main/page/articles.html/_/articles/details-on-broadwell-core-i7-and-i5-cpus-emerge-r74source:http://wccftech.com/intel-broadwell-core-i7-5775c-core-i5-5675c-processors-iris-pro-graphics-6200-detailed-launching-q2-2015

This is what happens when AMD pussies out

No funds, you need funds to compete.

They are in a tight spot, two years running straight in operational losses.
