Ya, i will be moving soon and i don't want to carry big dabba around.

And, you are right about PC parts prices, they crazy expensive right now. I called Local computer shop here and he suggested me avoid building PC atm as prices are high and stock very low.

Situation will not improve anytime soon. Covid spreading in China again and i guess factories will get shut down again for few months.

One guy is selling HP Victus  Ryzen 5800H with RTX 3060, 16gb ddr4 ,ssd nd all for 65k. Its 2 months old under warranty which can be extended from HP and he bought it during prime sale from Amazon. He selling it coz his brother bought him more expensive and powerful laptop from US. So he planning to sell old one.

What do you all think, is it a good buy?  Victus 3060 is over 1lakh on Amazon right now.

Check the benchmarks, but for 65k it's a pretty good deal, assuming there isn't some catch involved.

Like it has some defect which won't be immediately apparent.

For 65k it's extremely good deal.

Make sure it's in good condition that's all.

3050 based laptop's are more expensive than that.

Yes it's basically i7 grade, 7 cores, 16 threads, latest zen3 architecture, 7nm so it will be more power efficient and less hot than whatever Intel has.

Battery life must be the standard 3 hours while gaming i guess.

very good deal for 65k if there isn't any catch involved.

Even for 1 lac or so it seems to be a good deal.

Be extra careful. Feel like something is fishy. Why would he take such a huge pay cut. 40k.

+1

Its a great price for these specs. Just make sure everything is in place. There could be some physical damage which won't get covered in warranty

One problem I see quite often in laptops, especially high refresh rates ones is that the screen flashes for split second and turns unresponsive. Not sure if it's a screen issue or something else but it happens out of nowhere and with very low frequency.

So make sure you use the laptop for a decent time before giving in the full payment.
