Bro, I just want to get something future proof. Atleast 3 years ka kaam ho jaye. I am ready to drop money on good monitor if the return is worth it. People buy TVs for this price why not a monitor for a pc if its gotta be used extensively.

But yeah, I agree with the sentiment. Prices are too high!!

The monitor does not have anything to do with future-proofing.

Which monitor do u have bro?

He has an ASUS Gaming model, I forgot the exact details but it is a 1440p screen that has a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2ms response time.

But is it worth it?

I would recommend going for a high-refresh rate and response time monitor, G-Sync is already kind of redundant thanks to nVidia introducing Fast Sync on Pascal GPU's.

Either way, no need to purchase a monitor for G-Sync, very expensive and unless you are a professional league player, a little redundant.

Amazon shows the monitor for 1.2lacs. f**k! :fear:

I have been using these for the last 6 months and they are the awesome. Id recommend sourcing them from US as they retail for around 600-650$.

This looks sooo good. But it's Early Access so I'm not sure if I should get it now :(

I'm playing it. It's a lot of fun and gameplay is super-tight and responsive. Difficulty can get pretty brutal past the first few stages though. Thankfully you can slowly chip away and make progress by unlocking some permanent upgrades.

Would recommend buying at the current state / price.

^ I would suggest you consider an AMD Ryzen R5 1600 based RIG, couple it with a good quality B350 chipset based motherboard from ASUS or GIGABYTE and the fastest kit of RAM you can couple it with.

For SSD, the minimum is Kingston's UV series, better is the SAMSUNG 750 series with the 850 series drives on the top.
