NVIDIA officially announces and details DLSS 2.1, brings ultra performance mode for 8K gaming

  • NVIDIA claims that DLSS 2.1 will deliver 8K gaming on GeForce RTX 3090 with a new 9x scaling option.
  • Furthermore, DLSS 2.1 will bring VR support. As such, developers can now finally use DLSS tech in their VR games, something that was not possible with the previous versions of DLSS.
  • DLSS 2.1 brings dynamic resolution support. The input buffer can change dimensions from frame to frame while the output size remains fixed. If the rendering engine supports dynamic resolution, DLSS can be used to perform the required upscale to the display resolution.

Price is also a factor.

Most of the time they do on PC. There are so many good indie/less known games that are better than AAA titles.

Crusader Kings 3 is 3rd highest rated game this year so far. Only behind Last of Us 2 and Half-Life: Alyx. Good it is selling well despite being on GamePass day 1.

What's up with the inflated prices of Ryzen 3600 since the last few weeks?

From 15-16k pre-corona, it has reached 20k and above now, i checked on amazon, primeabgb, mdcomputers, all have similar pricing

What gives :scratchchin:

Supply vs demand. Makes 3600X a better deal because of higher clocks and better cooler.

Fall guys in its 5th week still doing better numbers though. If Avengers was any good, it'd be a chart topper. Even mediocre games like Battlefront pushed 15 million units.

Avengers starting with b-grade quality doesn't help.

If we had gotten proper AAA quality game with actual superhero design and VO, it could have been huge.

Covid tax, they have less supply at the moment and hence the prices are jacked. Infact all hardware prices are jacked at the moment. If the supply is low the prices are jacked immediately in India. But if the reverse happens when the prices fall sharply we never get the prices to fall sharply here. It's only reduced slowly.

Even Nvidia RTX 3070 which people are calling the second coming of Jesus is overpriced at 51k for India but people are still defending it.

3070 price seems fine because as compared to us pricing(taxes are exclusive for US) there not much difference, infact its 5-6K more with taxes and all.

More like 10-11k (500$ plus 6-7% tax and exchange rate at 75). Unless I am missing something.

Not sure if founder's edition have international warranty, so might/might not be worth it.
