b!T
Why you ask? Triggered your instincts?
kaka_messi
Why you ask? Because I hate Denuvo. Battlefield 1 akela game hoga that I will buy day 1 even if it is infected with denuvo virus. Rest- sale. kyu? karne ke plans hai kya? Aare nahi. Agar mujhe ahem version lena hota toh yaha ye question nahi poochta. Waise bhi denuvo ki lagi hui hai abhi. WhiteWolf
Triggered your instincts? No coz Iam not playing games on PC right now.
Aftrunner
Yeah Denuvo isnt a deal breaker if I really want a game but it can be a deal breaker for games I am on the fence about. Its something I can put up with but would rather not unless I absolutely have to.
b!T
I have played some Denuvo games(DA:I and JC3 are the ones i remember) and honestly never gave me much trouble. But when it comes to DRM or anti tamper tools in general, I tend to avoid it.
ALPHA17
3 disks huh! thats good news since i don't want to download much. Even HR had most of the data on the disc. Problem is even that is not a guarantee these days. Hopefully Mankind Divided will buck the trend and we will get a majority chunk of data on the discs themselves. GTS shipped my Steelbook copy late in the day today. I have played some Denuvo games(DA:I and JC3 are the ones i remember) and honestly never gave me much trouble. But when it comes to DRM or anti tamper tools in general, I tend to avoid it. Denuvo is not a DRM, just an anti-tamper measure. Never played any titles supporting it mostly because I had little interest in them. Hopefully it gets circumvented or the titles sporting Denuvo get put on services like GoG at some point. ALPHA17
I read Denuvo puts extra load on CPU and hdd. Surprisingly, no one gets worked up on this anymore because they could not co-relate issues.
Aftrunner
i get FPS drops in RoTR and on Batmobile : Arkham Tank can't say if Denuvo or sh*t port. Did Arkham even use Denuvo? It was just a poor port. Anyway, how long does the unlock from pre load take for a 20GB game? Will it download more stuff after that? Any ideas? ALPHA17
Anyway, how long does the unlock from pre load take for a 20GB game? Will it download more stuff after that? Any ideas? There is a ~4GB day-one patch. Ideally which should have been worked out in your pre-load but if not, that should be the only download you have to jump through. b!T
i get FPS drops in RoTR and on Batmobile : Arkham Tank can't say if Denuvo or sh*t port. When it comes to Arkham, denuvo was the least of my problems. Thinking about that fiasco makes me wanna kick WB. Did Arkham even use Denuvo? It was just a poor port. Anyway, how long does the unlock from pre load take for a 20GB game? Will it download more stuff after that? Any ideas? It will download just the EXE and day one patches if any and will extract all stuff. So will take 30 to 45 mins depending on your system. Its my experience anyway. Didn't know about 4 GB Dday patch. Damn patches. Surprisingly, no one gets worked up on this anymore because they could not co-relate issues. Yeah, this is what I have read as well. I remember reddit was trying to find some connection but i don't think they did. And also from v2 onwards denuvo is more stable i think if thats the word for it. Big Boss
Denuvu doesn't affect CPU or HDD at all. It was proven. It was just fud spread by wannabe pirates. It's best anti tamper mechanism out there.
Star Lord
i get FPS drops in RoTR and on Batmobile : Arkham Tank can't say if Denuvo or sh*t port. Definitely sh*t port bruh. Both DOOM and Mad Max have Denuvo too but neither had performance issues! Edited August 23, 2016 by Archit
Aftrunner
Hmmm 4GB patch is a paint but what the hell, I wont be home till late anyway, so I will just ask them to leave the PC on. Is there is no way to access the comic book extras without the game unlocking?
