Skyrim was only 6gb on consoles..

 .. abbey safed whaag

It was on previous gen consoles, the third-party games on those platform didn't even surpassed 20-25GB

File sizes explode on current-gen (PS4, X1) for eg. NBA 2K14 was 8.4GB on previous gen (PS360) but 41.8GB on current gen.

COD:Ghosts, Injustice gods among us are the live examples.

Skyrim was 6gb even on PC..

Fallout 4 is using modified version of Skyrim engine only.. It's not using Id tech 5 or 6.

Witcher 3 is only 24 GB on PC gives more than 200 hrs of gameplay

Expands to 31GB with 1.08 patch i doubt Bethesda games expand that much

My day one download from GOG was at 22GB.

CDPR made it so small because of some badass compression algorithm, like their patches are 7gb normally but 2gb compressed in .bin format,so you get the idea

I dont know what they use,but they can make file sizes small

Bethesda on the other hand is notorious for Asset re-use :P

Problem with Bethesda RPG is that the core gameplay at heart of their games is bloody awful, fallout is just tiny bit better compared to skyrim. Fighting in skyrim is a total joke, probably the worst fighting in any RPG, makes it feel like a walking simulator. This flaw is even more evident if you play it after playing a gameplay focused RPG like dark souls.

So true! Bad gameplay means NO buy from me no matter how good the story is. Left many games mid-way because of that. Gameplay in this looks really good, however! Will definitely buy it.

Does Fallout 4 have gamepad support on PC?

Fallout 4 has plug & play compatibility with both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers. Alternate controller options may require additional user adjustments

*hopes for DS4 Support*
