Fallout 4

Its just a one button thing, why do you want it to be automatic. That would actually be a bad thing as you'll have no control over when the game is changing to FP mode. In fact, its pretty much impossible to implement this feature as this is an RPG and if an enemy is far ahead of you and you don't want to engage or you want to run away, then that would be a big problem. Its just one key IIRC. I forgot which one.

Just play the game, if you like RPGs you will love this.

I think the one button option will work for me. I love RPGs, specially games which take itself seriously. I am yet to finish earlier Fallout games, I purchased all of them in sales ,,lol

If you like deep story driven RPGs with great characters like Witcher and Mass Effect then you will not love Fallout 4.

If you just want to f**k around and do crazy sh*t like you do in GTA games without any kind of restrictions then get Fallout :P

So far the most appealing features of Fallout games -

1) limb targeting system, you can system target each part of the enemy- it gives kind of strategy in each bullet which is also rare

2)Limited resources, things are scarce in a post apocalyptic world- really push players to count each shot/blow

3) Weapon/tool get deteriorate and broke finally - why this aspect is not applied in other rpg/shooters yet? I loved the overall pressure cooker setup with limited resource setup

things that I dont like -

1)drab post apocalyptic environment, I love green things, brown is not my color, applies to any game

2)I heard that, previous fallout games are full of bugs, some are game breaking in consoles

No matter what I am going to play the earlier fallout games first (at fallout 3 and fallout new vegas), but still want to know the price of pip-boy edition

The biggest plus of Fallout series is that it is an exploratory game, you might find quirky and weird things that you wouldn't expect in to be in game,Like the Town of Oasis in FO3,or a friendly supermutant

the drabness is accentuated by the fact that Fallout games have some sort of yellow or green color filter, i dont know if its in this game or not,so it would be best to disable it somehow

pip boy ed. is listed on GTS,you can keep an eye there for the price

I completely disagree with this. I hate GTA series more than anyone (In fact, I am yet to meet a guy who don't like GTA) and hate any game related to that.

is anyone clear how much of the game we have to download from steam??? i just think it is really absurd to have physical copy without full game. its simply against the concept of having physical disk... if it is anywhere near the download size of Mortal kombat x then it is reallty dissapointing.

people like me will have to wait for entire day or 2 to play a full priced physical copy .....and not only that if the remaining file is too big it is going to be nightmare coz too many people will be downloading from server..

nyway cant say anything till nov has arrived...

there is nothing new to show except an updated model of a world that we have seen in past iteration of the game. only thing new is the gameplay that also most other games have already i. e in shooter games.. if they show you the world , no one will be anymore hyped as they are now. they as usual have no good story. They offer only a world where we can find stuffs that may amaze us sometime..and a sandbox type wasteland living simulator.

Fallout 4 will require a Steam download, even if you buy it on disc

The word came from Pete Hines, Bethesda's Vice President of PR and Marketing, who confirmed on Twitterlast week that the physical release of the game will include both a disc and a Steam key, and that the disc will have "actual install data" on it. But in a follow-up, he added that while the game will be installed from the disc, "You will still have to download from Steam. The disc doesn't contain the entire game."

This is not unreasonable, or even unusual. Most major game releases these days require hefty launch-day patches anyway, and as Hines pointed out, the console versions of the game will be on Blu-ray discs, which can store 25GB per layer, while the PC version will be on DVDs that hold just 4.7GB. But when pressed about why PC games in general are so often restricted this way, he offered a simple, one-word answer: "Piracy."

That response went over about as well as you'd expect, but Hines was unapologetic. "We've been doing it this way more or less for 10+ years," he tweeted. "Seems to be doing ok. Lots of people bought Skyrim, Wolf, etc."

Even "Steam Exclusive" games land on the Bay on the day of release,so i dont see sense in this.

seems like people want to save disc making, transportation, packaging pittance charges
