Dishonored 2

With some tinkering around, I've got it running pretty well with a 30fps cap and everything set to ultra except shadow quality and view distance, which are set to high. Framerate is bad without the cap.

Well, time to start playing the game properly now. Had rushed to Karnaca Bay earlier to test the performance.

Also, once you are out in the city, it lags extremely bad. Even after lowering all settings, it feels very heavy and laggy. Hopefully, they will release a patch soon.

Try reducing the mouse/controller friction level in the controls menu.

This is a really good game. Everything about the 1st game times ten. The start can be a little clumsy, but once you enter Karnaka docks, you are done. It is dense, claustrophobic, challenging and really just drops you into the middle of a complex system of moving parts. (BTW first thing first remove the objective marker, the linear path is the worst path).

After updates on the ps4, there is some improvement in fps, the aliasing & stuttering is either gone or not noticeable. But there is a lag of a few seconds when you press the pause button. Load times are OK, long when you start the game, about ten seconds on loading quick saves.

FOV is good?

Will get disc version by Monday.

Not sure about consoles but there's an FOV slider on PC.

Default is 80, which I don't really mind personally.

I prefer playing on 90 though.

I actually use the objective marker to let myself know where not to go first :P

I usually try to explore every nook and cranny and then look for a way to go where the marker is pointing.

Who are you playing as BTW? I'm playing as Emily first mainly because of her cool new powers but now that the game is open about the heart being Jessamine's, I really want to play as Corvo too to listen to all of the heart's dialogues specific to him.

First time I enter Karnaca Bay playing as Corvo for my test run, Jessamine's heart talks about how she had always wanted to visit so many such places with him which is something that will never happen now. That kinda hit me in the feels :\

Fps in games like ROTR and DXMD drop to 30-45 in open world areas,Mafia 3 and this game run like sh*t on GTX 970s(if not all year old gpus)

I haven't tested Mankind Divided, but I can assure you RoTR does not run like sh*t. Mafia 3 had issues with almost all the cards due to poor optimization and not just on 970. Heck, even the GTX1080 struggled to maintain 60 frames.
