Keiji Inafune: I’m extremely pleased to be able to announce ReCore today, which is a game about my favorite kind of robots. Sometimes they’re brave heroes, other times they can be humorous companions. In fact, they can be even your most loyal friends.

As you adventure through the mysterious world of ReCore, you’ll learn what makes these robots uniquely charming and powerful. I’m eager to know how all of you will feel after interacting with these robots. And I hope the game will be a fun and endearing experience for you.

Mark Pacini: Everyone at Armature Studio is really happy to invite all of you into the world of ReCore and hope we’ve created characters you’ll love to spend time with.

In the months ahead, we’ll be sharing a lot more about ReCore’s gameplay and other features. We hope you’ll agree that ReCore is an innovative take on the classic action-adventure — a genre that is dear to our gaming hearts. So please stay tuned to this community site and ReCore’s other social channels.

Let the adventure begin!

Why in the world did this have to be exclusive?

Hey, I thought you guys love exclusives. Oh! Wait, only if it ends up on the hardware you own.

Not quite sure what you mean by "you guys" (generalisation much?), but I don't care for exclusives for my preffered platform.

Heck, I don't even mind timed-exclusives either. As long as I know that the game WILL come to the platform I own/will own.

I don't care if The Last Guardian can be played on the PC, Xbox One and the Wii U as long as it plays on my PS4 when I get it.

Not generalising but that is the policy of consoles and how they sell. Exclusives.

And that is why we have good games locked behind a certain brand. Whether you like / prefer it or not.

I think this is gonna turn out to be one of those games which have more emphasis on feels rather than gameplay. Perfect hipster material.

Creators of Mega man and Metroid are working it.. I think it will be a great game with solid gameplay..

Somehow (i don't know why, but...) I am getting very "Beyond Good and Evil" kinda feel/vibe from this game, which is a good thing IMO.

I loved BG&E and if this is going to be any sort of it, I am gonna love it too.

Alas, I don't own an XB-One. May be in future I will buy one.
