This is just great and damn its cheap Might get this too if I decide to order a Wii from playasia Say, am pretty new to this GPS stuff but I know what it does so I wanted to ask since its working great here in India, do I have to actually pay to use this service or anything like that ??? kinda like a mobile phone service or something ??? or is it that I just order this thing and am set and won't have to pay for anything else ??? THE DIRECTOR Posted October 21, 2007 Report Share Posted October 21, 2007 i know its getting released in the UK in Jan. but there now point in getting it imported, as its software based. so it will only work in a few countries in the EU. japan has its own version, which ive been told, isn't very good. but if there a home brew software, then u might be able to use the gps device in india. I will note down the info next time as to use the PSP GPS in Japan and EU, u need the UMD mate. which are only compatible for that country. unless PS release a map pack for Asia or India, then its all good. but until then, there was a custom GPS app which can be used.
