The main character is basically a sperg/autist whatever you call her, doesn't seem to have any emotions and is very "cold" tbh, i think they have made her like this purposely. characters are 90% oogah boogah retards, except the one you meet late game. Only main story campaign + lore and "world building" is good. Combat is basically petite( that is the most patli kamar i have seen in any female char on any game till date ) redhead getting bullied by big bad robot monsters. Like Frozen Wilds """Boss fights"""" with fire/frostclaws are basically this Unlike other games you cannot stand toe to toe with whatever mechanical horror out there, you just have to run, throw bombas, shoot arrows, and run some more, probably use rope caster to tie the trex or whatever big bad down. The story is excellent and as for the characters mostly the ones you meet early on or even late have no role in the story, only a few characters are good esp the ones you meet of the old world. You can decide it yourself, then game is available for less than 500 in TP. Does everyone expect the core mechanics of Forbidden West to be same ? One of the best doesn't mean however that it is flawless though. Only flaws in this game is Aloy being an emotionless sperg, and the other characters being 2D oogah boogahs NPCs who you cannot give a rat's a*s about. Combat is not for casuls, you cannot simply just spam arrows or bombas from slingshot at big cat robot, stormbirb, trex, bears etc and expect to win, and neither can you do 2rs arrow spam on the mob robots like the watchers and lancehorn types, you have to hit weakpoints to dispose of them fast, which needs aiming . But it do feel good when some harami big bad robot dies to a small redhead girl Graphically it's still the best, like just now i was fighting a Thunderjaw, and when the thing charges on you, or on it's corpse, you can see every detail, the models, art design, environments, lighting, aloy's face everything very well done. Yes, on the smaller ones it's not that noticeable, on the 3 big cat robots, stormbirb, thunderjaw, both the bear bots all you can see the detail, how everything is masterfully crafted. PhantomShade Posted July 21, 2020 Report Share Posted July 21, 2020 I'm pretty sure if GG makes a Horizon 3 for PS5 it will look photo-realistic, if this is what they can come up with using the mediocre hardware of PS4, imagine what they will do with Zen2 8 core CPU, RDNA2 GPU, 16GB RAM and that custom SSD Every single one of the SIE studios is incredibly skilled and talented ND, GG, SSM, Insomniac, SP, Polyphony, MM etc. Also Fireclaws are the most bullshit non-boss enemy i've ever fought in a video game.
