Which means, Death Stranding on PC (if released) will be capped at 30 fps. Yup. But will the day-one update improve frame latency? The engine may have been designed for 30, but that would be from a console standpoint. There are many other factors that influence a developer's decision to cap the frame-rate. He has not played Horizon 3 and yet all his 120 posts on the thread were nothing but praise and defence as if his life is depending on it. I've played the game inside out. Day 1, paid extra for early access, invested more than 100+ hours before finally giving up on it. I'll never ever get excited about anything that has Microsoft/XBOX tag on it. Just all sizzle and no steak. Post anything and he will be the first one to defend it.Funny thing is, he even said, that game is super active and shite and asked people to look up while he was lurking at Mircosoft basement. Looks like PC version is dead. On Xbox FH3 club is quite active. Lot of people setting up sessions in LFG section. It's cross platform.. Search for LFG group on Xbox. You will find players there. .... Very loyal indeed. In fact, based on his gamecard, he has no access to Forza games at all. Last was Forza Motorsport 4. At least the SONY fanboys play their game and defend it rightfully, unlike Zodak who has played only ONE Xbox exclusive title in years (Sunset Overdrive) since launch. Rest all the games are multi-plat but he treats every game as XBOX exclusive. Zodak is the worst thing happened to this community and Xbox is the worst thing happened to the gaming industry. You don't see me or other users shoving a game down the throat without actually playing it. If you didn't like it, post it. If you liked it, post it. It creates a proper discussion and allows the community to grow. Do you review games without playing it? Do you post anything without testing it? No. That's how it should be on a public forum. Interesting lore because the entire world is a mystery to you. It's a spin on the amnesiac hero trope where you want to discover your origins, which are unknown and you haven't lost your memory. 3. It's not like TW3 in terms of subplots. They don't tend to tie in to the main storyline, though some do a good job of fleshing out the narrative. From a gameplay standpoint they're designed like fetch quests though. I'd say kinda in the middle. Tbh, comparisons to TW3 are overkill IMHO considering CDPR had 2 games prior to get it right [emoji14] For what's been done, I think it's laudable. AFAIK the last in-house Sony developed RPG (not Level 5) was Legend of Dragoon, so a crazy risk doing this. That aside, FWIW, pretty darn good. I have a feeling it's a core feature of the Decima engine, which strongly indicates that it cannot be disabled entirely. Aside from the obvious risk, it is also impressive because GG has ensured that Texture Streaming works only when Aloy is in motion. Which brings me to the next question. This feature works best (less noticeable) at lower frame rates, i.e., 30 fps. It is bound to become more noticeable at higher frame rates such as 40 fps, 60 fps, etc. I wonder how they're going to compensate for this on the Pro with the day-one update? I think that's a very common streaming technique. GTA 5 does this as well. There's a circle around the player character that has crisp textures and shadows and as the character moves this circle moves as well. Also it's frame rate independent. This is present in GTA 5 on the PC as well. It's taking advantage of player's focus. It's either on or around the character or far in the distance so most players miss the LOD transition because they're not focusing on it.
