pixeljunkie
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2017-horizon-zero-dawn-tech-analysis-what-works-and-what-doesnt  Great analysis by DF. Overall they're very impressed by what GG has been able to do.  They do talk about the shadow resolution and anisotropic filtering being less than ideal away from the character. Also the water quality and interaction is not that great.  I disagree with DFs' opinion on the pop-in. The section of the video that covers the pop-in issue doesn't even tax the console. They've used the wrong example to talk about the pop-in issue in ZD. Gamers are bound to find it jarring after multiple replays especially when binge gaming on the weekends on the base PS4. Gamers are well accustomed to low shadow resolution and low aniso levels for years on all consoles. Gamers are less likely to notice issues with the water quality and interaction in general because it's not as if the the main character will be wading through water for more than 10% of the entire game or traverse levels outside the main story that have these clipping issues. In short, the issues that DF pointed out are likely to go unnoticed unless a gamer consciously looks for it.

RenegadeRocks
Preloading now. Is there any info on difficulty. Is it tough enough on normal? GG games are usually challenging enough on normal if I remember kz2 and shadowfall correctly. Is the system fair on hard or very hard. Because if the gameplay is tight enough then I think this might feel much more rewarding on hard. What is the general consensus from those who have played. Trying to avoid spoilers it's hard to gather impressions Edited February 27, 2017 by RenegadeRocks
roun90
How do you guys start preparing load on Indian PSN? When I go to the game store page it's just showing the countdown to playable time (1 day 5 hrs 22 mins) to me. Â *Edit* Figured it out. Have to do it from "Purchased" in library instead of store page which I used to do before. Edited February 27, 2017 by roun90
