Heaven Angel
Got attacked by 2 Behemoths and bunch of Chargers. Ran away quickly. One hit from Behemoth drained half my health benefits bar. That would've killed me instantly. I was doing a secondary mission where I had to catch a thief and fight a stalker. It was my first encounter with him never saw or heard about him before, that piece of sh*t gets invisible and I wasn't aware of that. When I shot him once and he just disappeared, I thought he ran off. A few seconds later he came right behind me and did his tail sweep attack and I was dead. Drained 400 of my health bar in one attack.
Heaven Angel
Corrupted machines are super weak against fire but resistant to almost everything else. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk No actually, They're also venerable to tear and damage on weak spots. Fires are weak on their body but for other components use guides for specific machines. Bellowbacks still take a shitload of arrows though. It took 10 tearblast arrows to bust the huge hump on its back. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk 10 tearblasts the components needs to make tearblasts are not easy to comeby. Dude there's a super weak spot under the belly of both fire and freeze bellowbacks take that out to do a heavy damage on them. Use fire or explosive tripcasters 3 to 4 to be precise and they're down. Gautam
Haha it was my first bellowback with my new carja sharpshoot bow. I didnot know they were so rare. Although, I almost always have enough crafting material for tearblasts even though I use them quite often. What's required for em btw? Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk I don't think tearblasts are the right arrows for the hump. I think it's weak to the hardpoint arrows. 4-5 hardpoint arrows makes the hump explode. Getting the multiple arrows skill makes it much easier to take down some big robots. I can now takedown Glinthawks in two shots. First one: Load 3 hardpoint arrows and shoot the freeze bag in the front. It explodes and brings the bird to the ground draining more than half the health. Second one: Load three fire arrows and finish the rest. Movement in this game is so satisfying. And the slide is godlike. I slide everywhere. Slide into cover. Slide into a critical strike on a downed enemy. I even slide into overrides. I slide head-on into a ravager or sawtooth and hit triangle as soon as the icon pops up. You can see the alert status has gone red but the poor beasts can't do anything but stand there getting overridden.

I had a tough time with that stalker too, it keeps sniping and has some crazy long range....I kept spamming arrows at it until it went down without giving it a chance to recover.... Fire bellowback takes a lot of fire arrows to go down.... The corrupted version you face as part of one of the main quest was easy to take down thanks to the other nora braves in that quest ! Finished another bandit camp now, I'm enjoying the stealth way instead of going all Rambo. There's a good Nora outfit to buy for stealth gameplay, wondering whether to buy or wait until median to get better weapons ! Tyler
Hardpoints are actually quite OP. One good shot at a Glinthawk's chest is guaranteed to send it crashing down frozen. @neo, Fire Bellowbacks (uncorrupted ones) are highly resistant to fire. Gautam
What are hardpoint arrows? I see a cracked armour symbol as weakness for some enemies. Which arrow is required for them? Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk Different parts have different weaknesses. The cracked armour is in fact a weakness to tearblast arrows. But I'm pretty sure that's not the weakness for the big sack on the back. It's weak to tearblast for some machinery underneath. Tearblast arrows hardly do any damage and are only good for taking off machine parts. Whenever you see a weakness as "All", the best arrow is the hardpoint arrow. Hardpoint arrows are general high damage arrows. You get them with the Shadow hunter bow. They symbol is this arrowhead with multiple points on top. You can use modifications to increase hardpoint damage Edited March 8, 2017 by Gautam
Gautam
I have 49 percent tear damage mod on my carja hunter bow. Does that help too? Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk Not really. That'll increase tear damage. But if tear is not a weakness, it's going to have very less impact. Check the weakness of the individual parts you're attacking. You'll see different weaknesses for different parts. Edit: Tearblast arrows with the tear damage mod will be very useful against shell-walkers to take off their claws and shields in front. Heaven Angel
Glinthawk are so sweet, they take almost 3 regular arrows and 1 critical hit and/or one heavy melee to kill. When one flying from afar I thought 'Is that a Stormbird' When I got close and scanned him I was like pheew! okay I got this. I fired a glinhawk who was above spitting snowballs at me. He was down in a second with shock .. did a critical hit and he was dead. I was like .. killed 5 of them in no time. It was a side quest right ? I had a tough time with that stalker too, it keeps sniping and has some crazy long range....I kept spamming arrows at it until it went down without giving it a chance to recover.... The stalker was fun to kill though after he killed me once, I had enough of it's weird invisibility sh*t.. 2 tearblasts and his components were scattering like balls. Without them he was just a stray dog hopping at me all the time. Killed him with just spear after then and I was like 'who's the boss here huh?' Ne0
I think r1 critical strike is one of the best perks to have early on in the game, took down that corruptor near the carja gate with just fire arrows.... no traps etc The outfits in carja fort merchant seems tempting to buy, but don't want to waste resources, will I get still better ones later on ? WhiteWolf
Start on normal then increased the difficulty to hard once you are above level 20. Big Boss
Play on Normal if you have other things to do in life lol. Facing Behemoths on Normal itself is quite tough and time consuming. Can't imagine what will happen on hard.

Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk ancient armor - the god mode armor that we all will get towards the end of the game. I have bought shadow heavy which has 15 resistance to all the elements. Also, fitted with 30% stealth coil. I hope this armor will be enough to carry me till I get ancient armor. Tip: If you are falling low on medicine, go to daytower(carja gate what Neo mentioned above) campfire and walk your way out towards snowy mountains to the next closest campfire. There are number of medicinal herbs in line that give 18% medicine. Under 1 minute, your health pouch will be full.
