Hopefully not. Now that the assets, character models, some of the music etc. are completed, we should get the game parts quite early (Hopefully 1 episode per year at least, completing with 3 episodes).

 

But then again, this is SE :doh:. They are the kings of delays and slow releases, and your estimate of a decade is not only possible, but maybe on the shorter side - with the final episode coming with the release of the PS6.

Oh, that's kinda sad. It'll suck to have to wait for a few years to find out what happens next. I mean, I understand games have sequels but this will be different, I guess.

 

Why couldn't they just remake the whole game? Like does the landscape and all change all that much after they leave Midgar?

 

I hope SE have planned a proper release schedule for all part(s) required. If they can share that, that'll be a bit re-assuring.

Loved the demo but wtf:rant:this is so annoying :/
