gecko89
Phew, good thing I waited on this too. Guess FF7 Remake is off the predictions for March PS+ games. Or maybe base version is free and there's a paid upgrade path, I'd be ok with that.

FF16, FF14 Endwalker, Nier Replicant, Balan Wonderland, Neo: The World Ends With You. All of these projects are set for 2021 release. They recently had Bravely Default 2 as well. Plus, they have to work on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 for at least 2022 release. Not to mention, SE will have painful memories of Final Fantasy X Audio Drama (That thing is an abomination and the creator should come out and declare it non-canon). Don't think they will have time to work on this. Especially on the "Exclusive New Chapter" Part. Best case, you might see a PS5 Patch that unlocks 60 fps and some minor graphical upgrades. Man if FF7R and Kena both end up as March PS+ games, it would be the best PS+ month ever. But yeah, giving the base game for free with a upgrade on the way doesn't make any sense. CarbonCore
EA doesn't do shady stuff anymore, they're drowning in billions they rake in sports gambling. Charging $10 for upgrade is small time, like nickel n diming poor people. Although charging $40 individually for barebones shitty versions of Paradise and Hot Pursuit is up there with some egregious remasters. They said they were planning to improve/add content and people assumed it is happening. A team was working on it for 2 years and it was going nowhere. So EA decided to stop wasting everyone's time and move on to next game. While at it, Anthem's failure is BioWare's fault and not all EA.
