Ethan_Hunt
Made a good amount of progress today. Did a lot of side quests and then cursed a lot on the 'Speedstar' side quest, particularly the 3rd part of the quest was insane. Whoever designed this quest needs to burn in hell. If I hadn't thought of equipping the 'Evade +3' chip that I had, I would probably have never made it through this quest. Post that, I also realised that I had tons of chips and never actually made full use of it. Promptly headed over to the merchant at the Resistance camp and spent my hard earned 100K gold on unlocking all the chip slots. Now the game has tuned very interesting. I have so many chips equipped and this has dramatically improved my chances of survival. Quick question; Some of the chips have some figures in brackets & seem to occupy larger slots than the rest, why is that? Do they stack with the previous ones? For instance, if I have Exp +1 placed twice in the slot, does that stack and increase my XP gain?
WhiteWolf
Yes but there's a limit. RenegadeRocks
Still GOTY 2017 for me.Haven't played Persona 5 yet. But I don't see anything this year dethroning Nier from the GOTY spot ! Not even Wolfenstein the great game i am sure it will be .Nier just has done something so special its impossible to top the number of surprises its threw the player's way. Loved it ! I wish i could forget this game and play it again n again !Sent from my SM-N920G using Tapatalk

Takes about ~20-40 hours for main story and extras. Completionist will take about ~50-60 hours. All endings are not required. Most of are just crap. Route A, then load and do route B. Then load again and do route C (select A2). Reload the second save and do route D (select 9S). Watch Ending D again after seeing both Ending C and Ending D in Route C. Accept Pod 042's request. Rest F to Z is non-canon. Just waste of time.
Ethan_Hunt
Dam it! Just spent close to an hour trying to beat Father Servo's final form with my level 29 2B. I had brought his health down the the very last block and out of nowhere I get whacked by his two swipe punch move. I knew that it was fool's errand battling an enemy twice my level, but it was doable. Not going to waste my time again and would probably circle back once I'm at least close to his level. I feel that the original Nier had some really nice & interesting side missions compared to this game, not to mention Kaine & Weiss's banter. The only conversation I enjoy is probably operator 6O's calls. It's really funny & adorable. Pretty much all of 2B's lines are completely flat, just like Nier's dialogues in the original game. But I like the theme of the game and somehow there are underlying messages in lot of the side missions.

Ethan_Hunt
Finished ending A. Started my second playthrough with 9S. The intro was rather funny as Spoiler I hit ending G almost immediately .
Ethan_Hunt
Done with 9S's playthrough last night. Though it offered some additional cut-scenes revealing the story elements, the play-through was definitely not worth it. This has to be the most boring route. 9S's combat was extremely poor, but some side quests were rather interesting, like Amnesia. It's also funny how 9S's operator (210) shares the same attitude as 2B. I missed out on one side quest before hitting the point of no return. Will start with route C now. Heaven Angel
Damn this game is awesome. Played for 4 hours straight. The amount of fun in gameplay is unbeatable. Also this is the most weird game I've played, in a funny way. Spoiler Robots f**king each other and having babies a boss enemy android dies and another is born from it, an achievement unlocks says it's a healthy baby boy
Ethan_Hunt
Just hit level 99. and Holy Batman, Route C is possibly the true highlight of this game. I mean the start itself was so explosive and the events in the first hour left me speechless. Spoiler Massive respect to 9S's voice actor and the animators for depicting the gripping emotion when he witnesses 2B being impaled by A2. Easily, my best scene in the game till now. Till route B ended, I wasn't fully convinced with the game, but route C changed the whole perspective. Now farming for all my Pod upgrades to max and hopefully hit 100% on my weapons. Oh and the music is absolutely legendary.

Good thing I started it at level 60. Didn't look like it would have even budged anything below level 50.
