For anyone doubting the ”largest roster ever” tag line for WWE 2k16, let us you assure you, that we are bringing over 120 unique playable Superstars and Divas to the game. Now when we say unique, we’re not counting the repeats like 5 John Cena models, or 8 Mark Henry models. As you can imagine, these models are keeping us crazy busy, but it is worth it.

Oh come on...... This sucks. Terminator should be in Mortal Kombat not in WWE. There are so many superstars we want to play as. For once give us what we want.

# Dissapointed already

GAMESCOM 2015: FIRST WWE 2K16 GAMEPLAY DETAILS REVEALED

Last year was challenging for WWE 2K15, as console generation transitions often are for sports sims. On top of the challenges that come with re-building an established franchise to meet the expectations that come with new hardware, Visual Concepts and Yukes opted to radically change the gameplay direction of the long-running wrestling series. It was a lot to handle, and while our WWE 2K15 review gave it a lot of credit for improving the depth and overall pacing of matches, there was a lot of missing meat in terms of the roster and feature set. After sitting down with 2K and Visual Concepts, it's clear that bridging that content gap while continuing to make matches feel more like the real thing is the gameplan for WWE 2K16.

Man. I was excited to see the trailers, but the gameplay video looks last-gen... or is it some pre-alpha footage? How the hell didn't they manage to put better textures on the ramp and around the ring?

I just played 2k15. I actually enjoyed the game a lot more than any of the previous gen games. I just love the simulation elements and the toned down gameplay. High hopes(again) for 2k16.lol.
