if supreme court verdicts that this is infringement to right to privacy then on what grounds can Govnt. issue an order?!

 

what I have heard is that it's something to do with under 18 porn

once they have made sure that there is a check that pornstar in not under 18 on site & there is sufficient check to make sure under 18 can't access it

 

they make it go back live........but how & what time will all this take is anyone's guess

Then why the hell is Br@zzers banned??? It is not just the Ban on Porn that is worrying, It is the attitude of the government. What if someone publishes Videogames are bad for children?? BBBAAANNN!!!!

Yep. Its a dangerous slippery slope.

 

Especially when you start banning things in the name of "anti-social content". That is such a wide open term, it could literally apply to almost anything on the internet. Cooking websites? Banned as beef dishes could be considered anti social. Fashion/clothing? Banned. Anti social in the way they show women dressed.

 

Just about anything could be made to fall under the distinction of being offensive or anti social. People get offended at the drop of a hat. This isnt the way to react to that.

I now find that Bleacher Report has been blocked by my ISP. The landing page reads

“Your requested URL has been blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. Please contact administrator for more information.”
