WhiteWolf
Jade Raymond has resurfaced, and revealed she is forming a new studio called Motive, under EA. Motive is a completely new studio, based in Raymond’s home town of Montreal, Canada. Motive will actually be physically close to Bioware Montreal, and Raymond states she has personally seen Mass Effect Andromeda in development. She didn’t say it outright but the two studios are likely to interact with each other, at least informally. Raymond also explains that Motive will not be going through EA’s extensive back catalog, but will instead work on entirely new projects. Their first project is a doozy, as they are working on Amy Hennig’s Star Wars game. What about Visceral? Well, it just so happens Raymond will now also be in charge of the California based studio as well. Raymond left Ubisoft October of last year, with little indication of why she did it, what she would be doing next, or even if she would be retiring. Now, it seems like she was made a better offer than what she had from Ubisoft and their Toronto studio. http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/29154/article/jade-raymond-working-on-amy-hennig-s-star-wars-game-founds-new-studio/
