playstation
The backlash to the game’s performance on PC has apparently gotten the attention of publisher 2K and developer Hangar 13, who addressed the PC gaming audience in astatement on the game’s website. They say an update for Mafia 3 is coming soon that will improve the game’s performance. We know how important having options that best suit your PC’s performance capabilities are. The team has been hard at work ensuring that Mafia III’s performance is consistent across all platforms, and right now the game runs at a solid 30 frames-per-second. We are currently working on an update for PC that will give players the option to play Mafia III at higher framerates. We’ll share more details about the update, and when you can expect it to arrive, very soon. In the meantime, the team welcomes feedback and would like to hear from you about what performance adjustment options are important to you. We’re actively considering a number of additional post-launch improvements on PC that would give players more control over how they can tailor the game’s experience to suit their rig’s performance. It’s been an incredible journey developing Mafia III and we couldn’t be more excited to get the game in your hands and hear what you think! http://www.polygon.com/2016/10/6/13190198/mafia-3-negative-steam-reviews-30-fps-lock

Heaven Angel
Not because of graphics, but because of how it runs and how retarded the AI is. What was so important that they had to push their game 24 hours early before launch? How hard is it to check before releasing? Not sending any review codes was a bad sign already. Their statement was "The team has been hard at work ensuring that Mafia III’s performance is consistent across all platforms, and right now the game runs at a solid 30 frames-per-second." Latest update: We currently have a patch running here at the studio that includes 30, 60, and unlimited frames-per-second options in the video menu, among other improvements for the PC version of Mafia III. We’re verifying the patch now to ensure everything is working as expected. If everything goes well, we expect the update to go live this weekend. We will be keeping the PC community up-to-date on the status of the patch throughout the weekend and thank you for all the feedback Right... It was so hard to include in the game. Funny thing is, it was NEVER locked in first place. You can literally find plenty of 60fps gameplay videos. So, let's see: 30fps lock. Retarded AI. Random crashes and freezing issues. 2012 textures. Muddy and bland. It is not acceptable when previous games look better. Tell me, why should I give them $60 for a half-baked game? Let them fix everything. I was already burned with Batman game. I'm not going through the same process again. Edited October 7, 2016 by Heaven Angel
funnyadit
Lol viewed the IVG midnight launch pics of Mafia 3 and I thought Mashrafe Mortaza was the first person in this line..
Agent 47
Tell me, why should I give them $60 for a half-baked game? He got the game for $15..that's why he is being so casual..he wouldn't have paid $60 for this..what say PS ?

Latest update: Right... It was so hard to include in the game. Funny thing is, it was NEVER locked in first place. You can literally find plenty of 60fps gameplay videos. So, let's see: 30fps lock. Yea...but this was like you said from the start feeling poor specially in graphics and even AI ..there are many companies that show fantastic trailers with superprocessed graphics and animation just for trailers atleast they did not hide it ....i think you can get refund right?...you should do it or hope they fix it soon. But how are the other parts of the gameplay..story missions...etc He got the game for $15..that's why he is being so casual..he wouldn't have paid $60 for this..what say PS ? What point are you even trying to make here?....been saying this from that day 1 trailer that graphics are going to be very poor....AI was poor too as seen on later trailers...it is for everyone to see it and take the decision...I took my decision based on story and characters and bought the game i was getting for at that time ...Rs 1400 i paid for it...is that any less money Sir?...may be for you...but it is still a good amount for me and so please don't bring lame points like that.. I too have bought many games at full price and even for some... trusting the devs and some have turned out to be masterpiece ..which i still cherish ..some i regretted ...because they were not that good and the money part also hurts when your game turns out to be bad...which is what he is having know which is fair enough but is it really all about money here?....oh he paid $15 so he be okay if game turns out bad...I paid $60 i should get a great game...at the end of the day we are gamers..looking for good story and good hours spend of our life. Heaven Angel
No it aint. Locked to 30FPS, poor performance and it looks like someone wiped your monitor with vaseline. Not even worth it for half that price. Refund now, but at sale when it drops below 500. Which it should pretty soon. Yea.. hope so!
