Add me, wanna tryout the party system GT: L33TWiZaRd  Also the game installs take around 5 mins or less and 6-7GB depending upon the game. Played Fifa09 and GOW2 after installing to the HDD, no noticable difference in load times as they are quite quick from the disc itself. The pros of this feature is no more Disc Read errors and the console is way quieter than before  The avatars are cool! MarketTantrik Posted November 5, 2008 Report Share Posted November 5, 2008 Well, I have been experimenting a bit more with NXE and M$ seems to have ripped off some more ideas from Sony besides hard disk installation. Â For instance, when you select a game from your game library, the whole background of the dashboard changes to reflect a the game's theme ala the XMB in the PS3 / PSP. Just played 20 mins of Mass Effect in the Citadel which is a graphically demanding area of the game. Â Good news : texture pop-in is dramatically reduced. Its almost eliminated in the lift exit sequences and where it does occur, its gone in a flash. The trademark Mass Effect stuttering is also drastically reduced and the experience approaches the PC version now. Â Bad News: Lift sequence times dont seem to have reduced much so there's obviously a heck of a lot of loading going on there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
