Tyler Posted November 20, 2008 Report Share Posted November 20, 2008 So... played around with NXE, created an avatar, checked out the various features and I can honestly say that it rocks! This is what the Xbox 360 interface should have been like from the beginning. The best part is the speed, everything is much faster and responsive... no sluggishness at all. This is what impressed me the most. I absolutely love the Friends interface. The avatar creation is cool but could be improved a lot over time. But for what it is now it's nice. I managed to create my avatar pretty close to my actual self and I can see that many others have done that as well! I still need to try the HDD installation and I can already hear the 120GB HDD calling out to me... Overall, it's definitely worth the hype. Even I forgot about that and was wondering how to remove those black bands in 1440*990. Will go home and change to 16:10 to get the full-screen.
