arey, I am just kidding. I am not suspecting you. Why would you lie on plat-ing a game?

If you have played BB and souls, you will not have much difficulty in this game as well. Good luck :) Also, as Tyler said these kind of games rarely come. Its completely worth for its price. You will have lot of fun

I also thought of going for plat for BB but chalice dungeons were too redundant.

Yeah, Tachibana got destroyed there. But remember, it is an endgame build with a maxed out weapon. If I did that much damage with a single blow the fight would be over quickly as well. The combo he uses is still pretty impressive though.

This fight is really a test of patience, I almost always ended screwing up in the last 30% of his health bar. Besides, one wrong move and he can insta-combo you to death from full health.

Hope,

if you are patient enough to deal with lot of loot,

if you don't feel frustrated on dying again and again and starting the level from scratch

and most important of all, if your budget allows you

buy this game, you won't repent. Its worth it. Plus, it has coop. Abhi lega to you will get large number of players to help you. down the line, the number might decrease.

In the words of famous Jhony lever "Le le, le le, le le" :P

Ah that's nicely summed. By your description it would be BloodBorne 2 for me. You know how i played BloodBorne :P

And i will complete it on my own like BB. The feeling when you defeat the boss after infite dying is Awesome.

Hum teri tarah kaccha limbu nhi hai jo help lega :P

^^ LOL.

Yes the game does require a lot of patience. Sorting and managing inventory is a big part of the game as well. After every mission I spend at least 20-30 minutes tinkering with gear. Dying isn't actually a huge setback though, the game is somehow more lenient than Souls. There are lots of shortcuts to shrines, many of the tough enemies don't respawn and the game actually gives you a consumable item that can safely recover your amrita after death from anywhere. It's very handy if you end up dropping tons of amrita at a difficult spot. For those wondering, it's called the Summoner's Candle. I think I have about 15 or so in my inventory, so they aren't actually that rare. Also, unlike Souls all of the blacksmith stuff uses gold (which is never lost upon death).

BTW I always keep forgetting about spending the Prestige points. They are a great addition though, work exactly like the badass levels from Borderlands 2 (or Paragon points from Diablo 3). I like how the game borrows a lot of neat ideas from other games but creates a very unique experience as a whole.

Here's my Umi-Bozu fight...

Overall it wasn't too bad, in fact I almost killed it in the first attempt but got squashed by one of it's slam attacks and I was out of elixirs. Thanks to my fire talisman though I could easily get past the first phase without wasting any elixirs. I really think the second phase is worse just because it's so easy to fall off the edge while trying to dodge. Like all fights it's about patience and waiting for the window to attack.

I loved this level, great design. However I can see a lot of people hating it as it's so easy to fall into the water. Fighting yokai on narrow platforms was tense as hell.

BTW here's another general tip, at the blacksmith make sure you dismantle stuff you don't want and then combine the materials to make higher tier materials (the option for this is not obvious enough). It's under Forge > Tools and the second tab in there. As you level up, forging new gear is much more cost effective than Soul Matching. Use the highest quality mats to get a better chance at crafting rare stuff.

New patch

Specifically:

which Google Translate spits out as:

【Adjustment】

· Reward increase on play by rare players Like "Ochoko" drops at random at the time of enemy defeat (only rare people) "martial arts" at the time of the mission success in the rare and increase in the number of "Ochoko" acquired

· Add forged items to "Trading" of "Tea room of Hiduyo"

· Adjusted the ninety-ninth weapon gauge recovery efficiency when using "Rukai" while using the ninety-nine weapons

· Adjustment of paralysis accumulation amount when using "jellyfish powder" repeatedly

【Bug fixes】

· Fixed a bug that the mission could not be achieved with the Chinese version "Tempura of the Fire God" Tokai Hen "seeking stronger fire"

· Fixed a bug that Kyushu Hen "Sleeping Spirit Stone" gesture tutorial window will not disappear

· Fixed a bug that the title "Masaru Saga wins the winner" can not be acquired

· Other minor bug fixes

Obviously, if anyone who actually speaks japanese wants to take a shot at it to make it make sense, that would be appreciated.

No Sloth nerf yet... hmmm. Personally I think it's ok, these options exist for folks who get badly stuck and need a way to progress past a difficult boss.

So I went back and defeated Tachibana Muneshige in the side mission, it was so much easier with the additional levels and new gear.

Also, make sure you guys do the Dojo missions, not only are some skills locked behind them but there's some really good stuff that drops in those missions (you do need to get some of your stats to 10 and later to 20 though). I farmed a full set of the armor that Hattori Hanzo drops and it's pretty awesome. Plus he's very easy to beat so you can do it quickly. I still prefer the Legendary Strategist set though, that enemy/treasure sense is invaluable. I hear there's also a Guardian Spirit that gives you enemy/treasure/amrita/kodama sense all-in-one!

Onto the third area...

There are no difficulty settings and although the game starts out hard it gets easier over time. Difficulty-wise I'd put it a notch below Souls/Bloodborne because it's easy to create an OP build or grind/level up and destroy everything. There are a few abilities in the game that make bosses much easier (though you still have to reach a certain point in the game as they are locked behind missions). Then there's also co-op which makes the enemies and most bosses trivial (even easier than in Souls co-op). Also, there are separate currencies for level up and upgrades so if you die you don't lose everything like in Souls. There are also items that can retrieve your lost souls easily if you end up dropping a huge amount of them.

I personally feel you can make the game as easy or as hard you want it to be. You can use legit in-game systems to make yourself more powerful or stick to certain rules to keep the challenge level high.

Lastly, I always feel like the difficulty of Demon's/Dark Souls / Bloodborne is slightly overrated. The games start out hard but once you're over the initial rite of passage (usually the first couple of bosses) they get much more manageable. You just have to accept that you'll die and lose Souls a lot and not worry too much about it. Nioh is a little more forgiving in that respect.
