Just touched there.. I am pretty sure if I put in long hours I am going to get bored.  So, taking it slow

It has been bothering me that there is a lot of emphasis on side missions in all articles and I did not find any till now I game *gulps*

My only gripe with the game is how easy the combat is. It borderline feels like a dynasty warrior game as you can just mash heavy and light attacks to win the game. Four hours in and after completing the first kingmaker trial, I did not use a single healing item - NOT ONE.

Agree with this. That was the case for me too. However, I think, it's supoosed to be easy at that point.

Went head-on against a Level 22 monster who was bound by the evil spirit (you will come across those in the game, if you haven't already) and got my sh*t handed to me.

Also, the Tactic Tweaker is so cool.

And yeah, I'm fine with the L1 too. And I'm using Japanese voices, so I'm not hearing the "Excuse Me" that you guys are talking about.

I really love when they go miniature while exploring it's looks cute and awesome. Combat is brilliant at first it seems easy and straight forward button smash but there is more to it. Amazing so far I have to save the Pirate girl now. Graphics are excellent and HDR is on point.

Optimization is spot playing at 4K@60fps Maxed out. Not a single stutter or Frame drop, buttery smooth.

Those tainted monsters and dream doors are super challenging. Got wiped twice today and ended up using 8/10 HP potions and a revive.

Had to escape from tainted monsters. Also, those big creatures (5-7+ levels above you hit hard).

The game gets better and better. KF8KHUI.png

Just started Chapter 5. Cannot seem to put down the controller at all (sadly it's time to sleep). It's been a really really long time that I've played a game that has me engrossed so much.

And going by Joe's post above, it's only gonna get better. :happydance:

Don't forget to spend time in your kingdom. Upgrades will help you massively throughout the game. From side quests to errands to fights.

After completing a chapter, make sure to complete some sides/errands/monsters too. Always check quest book for a level requirement. The game also has book for everything under help section. Can track tainted monsters and everything.

If you forgot what monster belongs to what category, you can find it under help. This is useful for tweaking tactics menu.

For skirmishes, feel free to get MIGHT before the battle.

Last, upgrade. Upgrade. Upgrade everything. Buildings, weapons, armour, even Higgledies.

Thats good to hear. I used to find the comparison of every UC game with UC2....senseless, but then was doing the same with this game. Will have to give it a try now.
