The Wolfy among us
You guys have very good internet connection to enjoy Netflix in India??? already use Netflix via DNS change. Will continue to do so, until all shows come, and censorship is settled.
roun90
Any 4k content in Netflix, since they have a plan for it? Also, how to add Netflix app in android TV any idea?
i_rock098
I personally think the prices are bit on the higher side especially considering that 80% of the population of India does not have the Internet connection to stream HD content. In our country the definition of broadband is 512 Kbps which is insufficient to even stream content at 360p let alone 1080p. Even I am on a 2 Mbps connection and can max stream 480p without buffering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

psinide
Subscribed, so far looks promising, although not all the content from the US is still available (The Office, etc) I think its time to put my 100mbs connection to test with some nice 1080p streaming
WhiteWolf
Will mature contents get censored? And Will this work on my connection? I have a 8mbps UL Airtel plan and i get around 1.5-2mbps download speed and 500-600kbps upload speed Edited January 7, 2016 by WhiteWolf

silv3rgunn3r
they should have started off cheaper say like 300 for the basic and 500 for the HD option and once you get a bigger audience then they could have increase the prices IMO for an average indian 500/- for HD with sharing capabilities would have attracted a lot more people.....just saying Finally good to see Netflix available in India.... just signed up for a 650/- plan along with one month free what i noticed is that some of the major shows like House of Cards, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad are not available not sure if they will added later for Indian region wtf no twd or BB Edited January 7, 2016 by kold_war

Ph3N0M
Just buy the UHD package and share with four people to offset high price. That's what I do.

Big Boss
Also why worry about censorship for online only site? Government or anyone doesn't have control over internet in India. They can block the site outright based on PILs, but we all know how that went when they blocked porn. It will never be censored unless Netflix chickens out. blitzkreiig
I have a 4mbps connection and have been running netflix for over a year using unblock - us... No buffering issues at all. Anyways the first month is free, everyone should try it.

PILs to censor is unbelievably stupid in my opinion. First of all, Netflix is a service and I am paying to watch the content and its not like anyone can watch the shows for free. As a consumer, I should be able to choose whether I want to watch a show or not. Not some stupid morons in the censorship bureau dictating what I can watch Edited January 7, 2016 by l33tmaniac
Somebody
Pretty cool that Netflix is finally available in India. The FUP limits will probably be a pain for most people though. Streaming 1080p video on Netflix will munch through they allocation in no time.

That'll be a pain if more than two of them wanna watch Netflix at the same time. IIRC, it's limited to 2 people streaming content on that account simultaneously.
