Thats insane. I'm on a 50 mbps connection, and that usually never gives me problems.

What do you need 500 mbps for? :huh:

Looks like they are optimizing bitrate and even resolution like in Europe. 

 

Same here. Happening only on Netflix. Can't even maintain 720p resolution, forget 1080p or 4k.

And unlike Youtube, you can't manually select your resolution for Netflix.

Is this happening to Prime as well? We do get resolution options as Good, Better and Best. Suddenly I go down from 1080p to what looks like 480p. This is very annoying.

And this is after manually selecting resolution quality as "Best"

As per this article, Disney+Hotstar is launching on April 4th, for a yearly subscription fee of 1499, to get premium content.

 

Currently, its still showing 999 in Hotstar. If I get premium now, will it automatically work for Disney+Hotstar for the next 1 year?

Yes, thats what they said. Any existing subs will be upgraded. New prices only on renewal.

hmmm. Are the subs stackable? I just renewed a couple months back, dont mind renewing at 999 and stacking if it's possible
