Lamar
Not sure this is the right sub forum to ask my doubts. Plz move the thread if it is not the right place. Thanks in advance. I'm upgrading to PS4 so selling my ps3 super slim. I ve few games purchased in psn and downloaded into my ps3 and I believe it's of no use to me once upgraded to ps4. Can I just remove my psn details from the ps3 and sell it along with the games? Plz advice if it is legal too. VelivolusDas
Yes. It is advisable to remove your PSN details before you sell your PS3. The new owner can make their own account. And I don't see anything illegal in selling your console to someone.

Even if I remove my psn login details from the ps3, the games I purchased and downloaded into the HDD will be available right... Can I sell that as well? Walker
Nope. AFAIK the games will not run if the account details are deleted from the ps3.

It's best to deactivate your PSN account from the console, format the HDD and then sell the console.

blitzkreiig
I think what worked for me was the option of deactivating all systems... Not just one PS3 in particular. Try it

What about PSN only games, games like Flower, will it be carry forward to PS4 ?
Walker
As long as the games were bought on your psn ID they will be in the download list. You can download it to ps4 if it is compatible with ps4. I'm assuming this is what you were asking.
