Snake
Played a few matches yesterday. The gameplay is definitely slower and the game suffers because of it, too much time for titans to show up, TTK is lower than TF1 and playing on the conslol doesnt help, need a PC beta to get a good idea on how it actually is. But in it's curent state, not a Day 1 buy. Disappointing.
CarbonCore
If you build up momentum you move as fast as TF1 default. But then again if you build up momentum in TF1 you be like Usain Bolt on dope. Still awesome fun to play, will happily skip this year's CoD MP. Django_3101
It makes me appreciate just how damn good TF1 was. It's like they forgot the first game even existed and watched some youtube videos and made a cheap knockoff of it. They should have stick to TF. not sure why they tried to bring CoD feel to it. Whole game, I got to call my titan only once
CarbonCore
Is it really made by Respawn? I wonder how much of the SP side is influencing these changes. Can't have a cinematic visceral experience when your main guy can infinitely hop around like a bunny on fire. Also I hope those a**hole who cried about bots are happy now. ALPHA17
You think Titanfall is much safer in CoD & BF territory than Mass Effect?!?! Oookaaayyyy Tell that to EA, plus the bigger problem is if CoD and BattleField 1 turn out to be any good who will buy TITANFALL six months down the line? Yeah coz it's a beta not finished product. Both BF3 and 4 were broken at launch but they fixed it, Right? Same will happen with TF2. Tu bas BF1 lena chahta hai, isliye bahaney dhund raha TF2 naa line k Your mind will change once it beats BF1 in review So when will they show us the full product, after we deposit $60 in your bank account? Don't worry, he will also buy once the game comes to ea vault. Judging by the looks of the game, it won't take very long

CarbonCore
Still had fun, still day 1 Also AI Titan in beast mode, punched enemy pilot in mid jump.
Snake
Only way i'll be swayed now is if a beta shows up on PC with a fkton of changes on the gameplay.... just gimme TF1 back with new content.
Snake
Still had fun, still day 1 Also AI Titan in beast mode, punched enemy pilot in mid jump. That compared to the beta for the first game, to me TF1 looks like it's a sequel to TF2
ALPHA17
Even the UI looks way too cluttered.
HotSonix
pilot vs pilot is a utter mess Huge a*s map with fewer guys ,by the time we find some one to kill you can finish a whole beer and bucket of wings
KnackChap
the map design in the beta is horrible. there is nothing in the 2 maps that encourages the players to use the parkour movement system except for the double jumps that lets you reach the roof of certain buildings. LaughingMan777
sh*t... maybe people will pick up original TF after seeing this and the servers will get more population
ssytu2939446d
I'm someone who hasn't played the original Titanfall, and yes, Titans also having a timer would allow everyone to get one. That being said, here are a few things that may help you play as a Titan for 90% of a Bounty match. 1) Killing grunts continuously: Killing grunts without much downtime in between very quickly fills up your Titanfall meter. The beginning of each match where grunts pop out of pods is an easy way to get this done. It's literally like shooting fish in a barrel. 2) Once in a Titan, stick with other fellow Titans to stay alive longer. Two or three of you taking on an enemy Titan will allow all of you to come out alive. A 1-on-1 Titan fight either destroys both units or leaves you really wounded. 3) Pick up batteries whenever you see them. When wounded, this is a great way to heal up and continue being in the fight. With points (2) and (3), I managed to hold on to one Titan for 8 mins in one match. (Although I had to play very conservatively and never engaged another Titan unless I had more health or had backup.) 4) Rodeo whenever you see a Titan. Each time you go up an enemy Titan, it fills up around 30% of your Titanfall meter. And also give batteries to your fellow Titans. Not only will this allow them to stay in the fight longer, but will also give your Titanfall meter a big boost. You can see in the second video that I ended up spending very little time without a Titan. BUT ALL THIS IS POSSIBLE ONLY WHEN THERE'S A.I IN ALL MODES.
