djanuj Posted August 12, 2017 Report Share Posted August 12, 2017 Anyone having issues with fps on bf1? I have GTX 1070 Gigabyte G1 micron chip. My specs are 7700k, 8gb Corsair lpx, 1080p display, Antec water cooler and 4 fans. Z270x gaming 5 motherboard. I get 40fps only. Why? According to many online websites I should get atleast 110fps on 1080p ultra settings. I am now planning to reinstall my computer by removing all files and reinstalling. Would that fix it? So it happened on this game and Overwatch. Where I hardly get fps. GTA v etc works great. Don't know if it's my gpu or that ram is bad. I read that Corsair ram is the culprit. Disk usage is 100% and CPU 64%. Whereas my GPU is 95% and fps I get 40. If I lower the settings then my fps increases but what's the use of buying expensive gpu then. I have already formatted my HDD and removed all partitions. Reinstalling windows now. Will see how it works now. Btw It has warranty in India so if nothing works will ask for replacement. Operation mode is always empty unless you do a quick search in which it always put you in a game that is almost over or is like 28 vs 10. Despite running a config of i5 4690k + gtx 1060 6gb + 16GB RAM.. I haven't checked my disk usage but my CPU usage is most of the time 98+ which I feel is causing the problem for me.. I even tried overclocking CPU to 4.2GHz but still no use.. You can try the below options and see if it helps in your case :- 1. Type in this console command in game with different integer values like 1, 2, 3, 4 etc :- RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit <int-value> 2. Edit the file - "<path-of-Battlefield 1>\user.cfg" and add the following value to it :- gametime.maxvariablefps 60 I was getting a variable performance of 40~60fps across all game modes/maps previously. After this changes now I get 60fps constant in smaller maps like TDM.. However in 64p conquest maps I still have the low fps issues.. Somebody Posted August 14, 2017 Report Share Posted August 14, 2017 The thing I find most annoying about the game is most people just don't spot players.
