Angad. Posted March 31, 2009 Report Share Posted March 31, 2009 Guys I can officially confirm that even the game updates can be downloaded to PC and then installed on the PS3. Just do the following: 1) Setup the ps3 to connect through the proxy 2) Insert game for which update is required 3) it will ask you to update, click on yes....once its starts downloading cancel the download 4) Now, if you check the PS3Proxy logs tab, you will get the URL from which the game update was being downloaded. Use the URL in any download manager and download the file. 5) Use the replace file trick and point the URL to this file you just downloaded 6) Go to your ps3 and load the game again...it will ask you to update...clik on yes and it will start downloading the file from your PC!! -Angy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But if I remember its about 22 pounds on shopto which is a good deal. @karoo: I hate its mouse feature. It turns the keys into sensors which acts like a touch pad, using it is not very friendly. EDIT: USB keyb is fine if you sit beside the PS3 and play, but with a bigger LCD you need to play with a distance and then you need a wireless keyb.
