Things I thot were new additions ( and unnoticed ) in the 3.0 firmware:

1. There are copy and paste icons in the text entry box right under the 'prediction' tab on the right

2. The 'What's New' section will directly play a preview if you click on a movie icon and will ask if you want to go to the playstation store when you click exit

3. does the sun in the LBP theme move according to the time of the day ? coz it was sitting at the bottom of hthe screen all of last night when i was checking it out

4. There are no new avatars  or maybe just very few

LBP theme changes according to the time of the day.

There are three new themes up. Pain, PJ monsters and high velocity bowling. don't bother paying 3$ for either of them. Just download the tesla theme, set the font to pop and use original as background for one awesomesauce home-made theme

PS3 firmware v3.0 messing up white Dual Shock 3\'s?

Reports are indicating that some PS3 owners have found that their white Dual Shock 3 controllers are not working since installing the new PS3 firmware v3.0.

Some PS3 users have found that their DualShock 3 aren’t working since downloading Sony’s latest PS3 firmware.

Many users are reporting that while the lights indicating player numbers are appearing the pads don’t appear to work.

Judging from posts on the forum it appears to be restricted to DualShock 3 pads rather than the default SixAxis controller.

The white DualShock3 pad in particular (not currently available in the UK) appears to have been singled out as the main victim so it seemingly hasn’t affected everyone, but until a fix happens soonish gamers will be rightly miffed.
