Its Arkham combat with air combos and ranged options, and its Arkham traversal except Batman being on grappling hook all the time. Other than that its same as the reaction to God of War combat after E3 2016.

Arkham combat was never good.

It is best at what it does, crowd management. Do the challenge rooms and see how deep it goes when you have to fight 6 different types of enemies at once. The ones in Arkham Origins will test your dexterity to the max.

Combat is fine if you get the chance to actually use it properly, which you never do in Arkham games. It becomes so crowded that you don't have to do anything but spam one button and you would block and clear out everyone. It becomes extremely automated. Chance to use and chain combos is hardly there.

I just came here to post that. ?

Insomniac draws on the Ratchet and Clank engine to push some incredible animations and post-effects in Spider-Man. Visually, the only contender this generation is 2015's Batman Arkham Knight -- itself with a similar open-world dynamic, and great effects.

Arkham Knight combat is much better. If you don't use varied moveset you can't win challenge rooms. Spamming block and counter will not work.

Wow looks like the person who designed special edition consoles at Sony finally got entry into an art school.

Rofl, ya probably the first ever great looking console, and the funny thing they had to try nothing hard.

Lol even this one isn't worthy of SE. Base xbox one S looks better than the special editions at Sony.

Its still better then what they have churned up before, they bloody screwed up a God of war console, it was only up from there :P

The controller is awful.

Good grief. That controller looks like one of those cheap knockoffs that. Simply sh*t. Should have been glossy with rubber grips... sigh.
