Hello, I have developed connection level 5 with all locations in the first 2 chapters by delivering standard orders, does it still make sense to do the remaining, as I don't see it ending

you can always come back later, some preppers give you new gear higher the levels

And platinumed ( fk you kojima)

The best game I have played when it comes to the gameplay mechanics, the way each part of the beautiful map opens and how the game makes you feel tense and vulnerable.

DS2 in the distant future, just like yakuza, you can't do such games back to back.

Showing the entire story in the last 2 chapters was not a great idea, was getting on the nerves with long long cut scenes

Dint like the game much and found it boring when I played it for the first time years ago but started again during the long weekend and this time I am hooked from the get go. While playing every now and then I wonder what kind of crazy pipe dream Kojima might be having when he came up with a concept like this. Such a unique setting, surprising depth in gameplay and systems and playing it on a PS4 and it looks amazing. In chapter 3 currently and have become obsessed with creating roads :)

Are the standard orders worth it if one isnt looking for platinum? I mean will I be missing some cool side story/mission, character or lore, if I dont do them? Have been ignoring them so far.

Almost 35 hours in and have just started chapter 5. Still dont have much clue regarding what is happening.

Have spent the last 2-3 gaming sessions only doing standard orders and building roads. Put all the orders on a vehicle, go to peppers, deliver, claim materials, add them to the nearest auto-paver, rinse and repeat. But getting bored of the std orders to be honest.
And after spending so many hours building roads the next main mission wants me to do the delivery to a mountain location away from the roads I've built :ranting:
So bye bye roads but hey there ziplines...you look good!!  What a gem of a game. It has pulled me back into gaming.

The snow section completely ruined the experience for me. He walks so slow thru the snow, even vehicles arent that better, most of the sections always have heavy snowfall going on, avoiding BTs is much more difficult and the added difficulty because of steep mountain terrain. Had started enjoying side activities like standard orders, building roads and all but now will just concentrate on the main story missions and be done with it.

Ability to kill BTs by cutting the cord felt good
