Gurugyani
@helios: bro let me share with you some inputs on Sony's discrepancy of policy on what we call Legit or OOR units. In Singapore you can buy the consoles from unauthorized shops but have to make sure that the box comes with a yellow warranty paper. For all consoles bought there you need to register your serial no. online with Sony. In fact they have some great reputable "unauthorized" gaming shops. I had bought mine with Qishan, on of such shop and registered for warranty online with Sony without any problems. On another note, for ppl who have bought consoles from Sony showroom abroad and now have moved to India, how can we call them OOR consoles ? and why does Sony refuses to service such sets ? Fine if its an issue of Zones, change the zone of the set when it comes for repair, but how can a company refuse servicing their own product ? The only company who excels in this thing of Service policy is Apple. Their policy says "If it is an Apple, any apple service center will repair it" they believe that it is their product coming out of an Apple factory. It is theirs. Cheers for them

Recently i was playing Deadspace game and when i pressed R3 button to access the GPS button, it stopped responding. I had to reboot and then tried pressing R3 again it stopped responding. It happened thrice and after that it is fine. It never happened wid any game bfore. I have been using it for more than a year and half. Is it the SOD prblm.
