Official Nintendo Switch Thread

Looks like it will come with optional external graphics processor similar to Razor Stealth Ultra book. Razor stealth support a external dock which enhances graphics capability of the system when connected to a TV for playing graphics intensive games.

If Nintendo is using new Nvidia graphics processor then they will have no trouble beating Xbox or PS4 unless they are going for some really cheap gaming device.

BTW why are you so interested in Nintendo all of sudden? Want to play Mario, Pikmin, Pokemon nd all. :P

They are using nvidia mobile GPU, not desktop one.

A new gaming system always brings interest

& no...not interested in that crap

More interested in Zelda or Bayonetta type of stuff

Bayonetta is not owned by Nintendo. Just coz Bayonetta 2 was exclusive that doesn't mean all Future games will also be exclusive plus NX is not backwards compatible. So, you won't be able to play Bayonetta 2 on it.

Ambar

So you think Pascal Tegra X2 chips will not able to beat AMD 7870?

Think they'll probably aim for 900p since 60fps is given for their first party games. 900p60 is still impressive for a portable system, and if the base console at home is modular and can increase its fidelity its even better.

Whatever happens, there is amazing potential for NX as an emulation device for both Wii and GameCube games. If eurogamer can get these games running using a 3rd party emulator on nVidia shield, Ninty can do amazing stuff with it.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2016-could-nx-bring-gamecube-and-wii-titles-to-virtual-console-in-theory

Having a bunch of gamecube and wii games(cutting down gimmicky motion controls) besides first party exclusives is enough for me. If they can achieve this during launch, then they can potentially sell as many devices if not more than 3DS since there would be no dearth of games. If you add a pokemon game + Zelda as launch titles, then :clap3:

Wishful thinking :happydance:

Kahi sala switch off nahi hojaye.....

Kuch khaas nahi lega....concept cool hai par kitna cool hai...i mean woh controllers toh itna chota hojata hai when you remove it ki 2-3 year baby ka haath ke liya design kiya hai as lagta hai.

oh my bad...just saw the small controllers can also be attach to make it big...thik hai.

Anyways still not very impressed will wait for specs....the Zelda trailer looked okay to me in NX...seems it might not be really that powerful.

With the portable screen its fine, but individually it seems too small .

Raw power is less than xbox and ps4 according to rumours.
