It will not be a mid-gen refresh like PS4 Pro. It might have BC or it might now (We don't know yet). That said, I do agree with you regarding recent titles having problems though. It better be backwards compatible. No buy otherwise.

Damn pinning my hopes on the next Nintendo to have backward compatibility.

R3D_D3ViL
I doubt there is going to be a mid gen refresh for switch. There is only so much you can get done with a Tegra X1 chip. The next one has to be the switch successor and Nintendo I think has never supported BC.

Wii was backwards compatible with GameCube. Wii U backwards compat with Wii. Gameboy Advance backwards compatible with og gameboy as well as gameboy color. DS (till Lite) backwards compatible with GBA. 3DS backwards compatible with DS. Edited July 12, 2022 by l33tmaniac 1

0verlord
When do you usually see the best discount on Switch during the year? Would we see good discounts on SwitchOLED during independence day sales? Currently it’s ₹27.5k

Local prices only change during supply issues or high dollar value. 27.5k is good value IMO. I got it for nearly 33k.

Normally it hovers within that range with local sellers.
silv3rgunn3r
Completed metroid dread this weekend. Oh man the boss battles are so intense and equally rewarding. The levels are so well designed and especially the background details in these levels look so good. Story is so well written and samus's new abilities too are so good! I'm a huge metroid fanboi but damn what a game

And the EMMI's..... Nightmare fuel lol. Kinda reminds of me of the Dahaka from pop warrior within but much better. Do play it soon. And in docked mode too the background details of the levels look so good

Hehe if you think that is tough you should see the boss fights ...very frustrating at times but equally rewarding Try playing it in rookie mode, it's a good game but very tough

CarbonCore
Amazing reviews, what a crazy year for Nintendo. And we still have 3 more games to come out before the year ends.
