Elijah058
Is this a good time to upgrade my Switch V1 to an OLED now, or should I wait for the potential release of the Switch 2 later this year?
blitzkreiig
Switch 2 might not even be backwards compatible. If you play handheld mostly get an Oled.

Every year we only have speculation of new Ninty console. Switch has a massive pool of amazing first party games which can keep you busy for years (many news ones releasing soon). Will recommend getting OLED unless you're in no hurry to get the console - then likely wait for Q4, with prices being inflated since Ninty will cater to holiday rush in western markets.

Don't upgrade right now, especially since you already have a Switch. Next gen model will for sure release this year. Even if you don't want to get that, it would lead to some sales on OLED model. AnK
I don’t think it makes any remote sense in today’s times to not have your system compatible with immediate old titles. I don’t think any of the hardware makers are immature enough to do something like that.

Sad that we get 3D Metroid games more which doesn't look close to fun as 2D ones. Really wanted something like Dread.
texthulk
I had Switch V1 in past, now considering getting a LITE since i mostly only wanna play handheld. Is it a good choice? Because the screen of v1 sucked really bad cause eye strain at times.. is lite screen equally bad ?

Why did the v1 cause eye strain? If it is because of small text, then lite will only make it worse.

You can get second hand OLED too if you want. Switch systems are built tough. Hardly see any bricked ones.

dante77
Looks disappointing. Putting analog stick exactly below main buttons is a disaster. All major handhelds and premium joysticks provide it slightly to the right side. My thumb hurts a lot. Also, it needs some kind of grip, not too much that it becomes non portable in a bag, but not flat like current one.

Take all of this with a massive pile of salt.
ganeshran
Does Switch online have a lot of games. I see a deal on a bundle with Oled and 12 month online membership. Is it like ps plus with decent games on here, or do I need to buy every new game on Nintendo store
