playstation
No idea, probably still tied to console. yeh log nahi sudheraga.....can't believe they did not listen to fans even after such failure with wii u. What kind of company actually like to see their loyal customers suffer with these stupid polices?.....my console gets broken or stolen or lost specially with switch being more portable thing ....my entire game collection will be gone too. playstation
Tied to online account I think. no it works like this....you buydigital game with your NNID account ...and that NNID account is not universal its only linked to your console. So now say your console gets broken or stolen or lost whatever and you buy another one...you will have to call Nintendo customer care and give them explanation of what happened and then give them serial no. and then they will decide that if you should get your digitally purchase games back or not. I pray that it never happens to me....have bought quite a few games on NNID.....bc america call karo ...unko samjaho phir woh decide karenga....haath bc... Banz
If they made their entire old games library (NES to Gamecube) available for free on online and priced it at half as much as Xbox Live, I'd be interested. no it works like this....you buydigital game with your NNID account ...and that NNID account is not universal its only linked to your console. Walker
So it's just a repurposed WiiU then. Underpowered for home use and sh*t battery life for portable use. Poor third party support, not to forget now pay for online. $299

playstationdude
I think it does 1080p when docked in. At least I remember reading that on IGN. So performace should be respectable.

WhiteWolf
What are the specs?! Same as latest Nvidia sheild which is a 199$ system and this is $299 with shitty paid online where you chat with your friends using mobile phone chat app, no voice chat feature in console. And to compete with PSN plus and GWG they are offering old NES games which you can play only for a month. Basically you rent these games for a month and then you lose access. playstationdude
900p30fps docked and 720p portable modeStill ok I guess. Even ps4 and xbox one output at the same resolution. Mario odyssey and zelda make it insta buy to be honest. Also don't compare with shield bro. This also has a proper 720p screen. CarbonCore
I dunno about new Mario, I prefer Galaxy/3DW type of Mario over 64. That trailer did nothing for me. That Zelda trailer is hype though, that orchestral music that swells up to Zelda theme near the end. Best videogame trailer I've seen since MGS5 Red Band trailer. playstationdude
Zelda is boss, but I liked that Mario too. Only the city part felt wierd. The trailer looks good once he enters Marioland.
Banz
900p30fps docked and 720p portable mode Depends on the game. Zelda is 900p. They say the Mario game will be 1080p. WiiU was so much weaker and still Mario Kart looked so good on it. The Switch is 3 times more powerful according to rumours so many of the games should do 1080p.
